This Czech language exam is more like a little test to see how well you have learnt the concepts, grammar and vocabulary from the previous lessons. I got a 52/57.
I did well for the most part. My biggest issue was that I forgot a few of the vocab words. I’m part 1, i mixed up “není zač” and “to nic”. And I missed a few on part 2. But, now I know what I need to study more of! Děkuju, Kateřinu!

Oh boy, the first go around I got a 64% but after some review of your lessons and more Memrise practice I got a 98%. I feel like I am starting to get the vocabulary into long=term memory which is helping when I speak Czech to my co-workers.

My score was 34,5 out of 55. Well i think it's not a good score but i liked the test and i hoped i learned from the mistakes. The worst was the first part i got only 6 points. I love You Katerina your channel is fantastic.

Ahoj! I got 45 points. Totally failed exercise 3. : ) Don't know why, but I just can't remember all forms of být. I guess I just need to learn it somehow by heart. Also, I missed a couple of čárka's.
At least now I know what I need to pay attention to. Great video and materials and everything! Díky moc!

A little late because I just start with your videos, I got 54/57 and my mistakes were kolega-kolegyně and in the first excercise I mix the answers 6 and 8.

Second exercise - 5/10 - there are some words I had no clue like dívadlo, úkol and platit and some I misspelled them (kávarna instead of kavárna, lekse instead of lekce, etc)
Third exercise - 12/12
Fourth exercise - 8/10 (I thought Čína was a irregular one, but it wasn’t haha)
Fifth exercise - 8/10 (sportovečkyně instead of sportovkyně and zpěvákyně instead of zpěvačka)

well done! in that case just the vocabs made a bit of hickups but otherwise you had a great score! in that case you can try to revize on memrise.com: Online Vocabulary Course on Memrise: bit.ly/CzechWithKateřina
You can even eliminate the vocabs you already remember and can spell and then just work on those that are new.
53.5/57! Not too bad, I just personally need to do better on vocab memorization and exception memorization

My score was 48.5/57. In #2, I couldn't remember the translation for task, cinema, sugar, theater, or to pay. In #4, I missed "Vietnamu". In #5, I missed the words that used the ending "k/gyně", and missed the additional č in zpěvačka.
I scored 53/57, Veda Z Indie (Moje chyb---sportovecka, 3 and 14 in Ex 1, Vietnama, )

You used THEY ARE = ONI JSOU instead of YOU ARE = VY JSTE (plural)
"Ty a Marie jste z Ukrajiny" means you and Marie = YOU TWO - that is the second person plural YOU=VY, so you can't use the 3rd person plural THEY=ONI.

Why "On je kolega David." is not correct? In today's lesson you have sentence "To je kolega David. " Please explain. Thanks
In reality it would also be correct. It just rtranslates with a little bit different meaning/feel.
On je kolega David. = He is the colleague David.
To je kolega David. = It is a collegue David.
I scored 55/57, instead of writing: Ty a Marie "jste" z Ukrajiny?", I wrote: Ty a Marie "jsi" z Ukrajiny?". But why should I use "jste" instead "jsi", since I have "Ty"? So, that means if the phrase would be "Ty/Vy" a Marie jste z Ukrajiny?, I would use "jste" for both cases, for Ty and Vy?
I don't know if I could make myself clear, but I hope so... 😅

I will try to explain.
It's because YOU AND MARIE are two people and so you need to use the plural form of the verb to be. Same as in English I guess. If you have more people, for example ME AND JOHN ARE (not is).
Ahoj! My score was 47.5%. I could not remember feminine form for some words and I forgot some Czech words.

I've got 49 out of 57 (~86%).
My mistakes were:
* In exercise 2: "vino" instead of "víno", "lekcia" instead of "lekce" (I have mixed it up with polish word "lekcja"), "mleko" instead of "mléko" and "platít" instead of "platit".
* In exercise 3: "Ty jsti Kamila?" instead of "Ty jsi Kamila?"
* In exercise 4: "Jsem z Vietnama" instead of "Jsem z Vietnamu" (dumb mistake, I have mixed the ending with Russian "Я из Вьетнама" even though Czech is more similar to my native Polish "Jestem z Wietnamu").
* In exercise 5: "sportyvlě" (???) instead of "sportovkyně") and "přítelyně" instead of "přítelkyně".
Overall, not bad I think :)
