    Spot on--& thank you.
    I asked doctors *decades* ago why I was getting NIGHTLY leg cramps in hot weather. None of them knew what to advise. The leg cramps (then, years later, HAND cramps, & most of the symptoms that your video mentions) FINALLY woke me up to Potassium deficiency.
    Thanks for sharing this with the 98% of us who have Potassium deficiency.

      if and when I miss eating at least one banana 2 days in a row I do get leg cramps. I make sure that I eat 2 banana a day . one in the middle of the day and one after I take all my vitamins at night. Yes, I find that taking all my vitamins at night I have energy all day.

      Leg cramps in hot weather make so much sense now! It's amazing how long it can take to connect the dots. Do you find that increasing potassium intake has helped completely, or do the cramps still come back sometimes?

    Three signs of potassium deficiency include:
    1. Muscle cramps or weakness: Low potassium levels can disrupt muscle function, leading to cramps or weakness.
    2. Fatigue: Potassium helps regulate energy production, so a deficiency may cause persistent tiredness.
    3. Irregular heartbeats: Potassium is crucial for heart function, and low levels can lead to arrhythmias or palpitations.

    How about eating a banana each day? A medium banana has 425mg of potassium. Potatoes, a medium baked potato with skin has 925mg, but make sure the potatoes are organic.

    • @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies
      @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies  3 дні тому +2

      Bananas are not a good source of potassium unfortunately. Because they contain a lot of natural sugar, this uses up the potassium when you eat it. So you don't really get the benefits. Potatoes are better, but again, very starchy and use up the potassium when metabolising it. The best way to get potassium & magnesium is by eating none-starchy leafy green vegetables (cruciferous mostly) and there is a good amount in salmon. 💚

    • @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies
      @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies  3 дні тому +1

      I don't have a problem with stevia at all, as long as you are using a pure stevia that doesn't contain maltodextrin. It's true some brands of stevia use bulking agents and other ingredient that can cause digestive issues, but pure organic stevia leaf powder is green and perfect. 💚

    • @ToddDouglasFox
      @ToddDouglasFox 2 дні тому +1

      @@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies There is so much wrong with what you’re stating and not just as pertains to stevia. Several minutes into your video on potassium, I thought I had finally happened on a great video on potassium for patients but then it went askew. We are regenerative physicians, effectively regenerating joints for 30 years without stem cell or peptides or other substances that interfere with joint regeneration. When patients come in who are using stevia, YES ORGANIC from the leaf and what you call “pure”, some of these patients grow it themselves, we ask them to stop. What they notice within weeks is that their memory improves noticeably to them and to those around them. It takes about 3 months to clear the suppression of neuronal activity that stevia causes. There are many other concerns with whole leaf, raw, unadulterated stevia that I won’t get into here. Our practice includes brain trauma and psychological trauma patients so we address these issues with serious intent and not whimsical fallacies.

    Hand & leg cramps for many people started from 2020 onwards.
    Before 2020, we never faced such cramps due to potassium deficiency. In spite of frequent diarrhea/vomiting/frequent urination, we may have lost potassium and would have been deficient in it but there were no visible symptoms.
    From 2016, , when the Cosmic Energies on the planet changed, it was then that people started falling ill with all kinds of disease, which culminated in Covid-19 pandemic.
    Since the pandemic in 2020, doctors have found out that many patients blood have become thicker & sticky precipitating heart disease/strokes and cancer in people.

If a certain dosage of supplementation was adequate when you were younger, you may need to up the dosage as you get older. Listen to your body, because a doctor won't. They'll just prescribe you something for the symptoms and fine with not figuring out why.

    Wow, I had no idea that puffy eyes could be a sign of low potassium! Time to rethink my grocery list... 🥑 Anyone else going to be stocking up on avocados after this? 👀

    Why is it always to get you potassium from foods..you can get it in the groceries store very easy..here in the Netherlands you get jozo low sodium salt..its 70 percent potassium and 30 percent sodium..real Cheap 450 grams for 2 euro.. always put a little bit in my sweet drinks.. you wont taste potassium in sweet drinks.. nowadays there's very little potassium in food .. because the soil is depleted....

      Most of the "light salts" have added bulking agents (silicone dioxide and dextrose which is a starch that raises blood sugar and inflammation). Be careful with these products, they are cheap for a reason. 💚

    What happens if your potassium levels seems to bounce back and forth from too much and too little for example I take in lots of potassium but I had to add about 1quarter of a cup of sugar in my diet because over a month or so of no sugar I develop severe brain fog and in a period of about twenty years this has happened about three times?

      No it has different properties. Although you could use the bicarbonate form, it has an unpleasant taste. Citrate is the preferred form. 💚
