Dr Marbas, you are a delight to listen to. So cheerful and yet so informative. Great Information. I am not 100% plant based but getting there. And I grow a lot of my fruit ,veges and berries so they are as close to organic as I can get them. But....my husband also loves fishing so there is my downfall. Still, I am only eating a small portion of seafood now which I hope helps. I live in Tasmania Australia where the air is so clean, the ocean is pretty good I think and my garden soil is full of microbes and organisms. I don't wash my garden produce so hopefully get the good bacteria etc from it. I love listening to your podcasts. Thank you for them.

Besides Britney's website, are there any cookbooks that you like that you can recommend? I like simple quick recipes. I think sometimes people who want to learn plant-based cooking. get a cookbook where the food looks delicious, but it's got twenty ingredients and three hours to make. That can be discouraging .

Milk should be the easiest thing to switch out. There are so many options now compared to 10+ years ago. Most friends say cheese is the hardest to give up. I’m assuming because veg meals at restaurants.

I have been "Doing the kitchen" for 50 years.... Sooooo fed-up of the blooming kitchen ... Now just eating raw vegetables 🙈🙈

I am working on changing. My problem is my husband will not change.
My question: why is it "your" problem that your husband will not change? We can only control ourselves, our actions, and our perception. Someone in our life who chooses not to engage in our change or doesn't support it is of no consequence. They are responsible for themselves (of course, if they are adults.) At the end of the day we are all on our own journey. Once we take responsibility for ourselves and not using excuses of others as obstacles to our own transformations you will see a complete shift in life.
My problem because I have to cook things he will eat, like meat.
You do you. Slip in some plants with his meat. Your relationship is important. Just eat different. He will learn from your example. Do not answer questions that are not asked.
