    Perfect timing! I am 64 and have been really struggling with losing weight although I am dedicated to eating wfpb sos-free. Thank you for the recommendation to eat 1 gram protein for every 2.2 pounds of body weight. I now realize I have been eating way too little protein. It is no wonder many of the older vloggers have started adding protein powders and an increased amount of beans to their lifestyle. Thank you!

    I would like to add to be sure to check your dried fruit as some can have added sugar/sugar syrup and/or oils. I noticed that fruits such as cranberries, blueberries or even cherries has sugars added. It's hard to find some that is unsweetened. Just thought I'd share.
    If you like dehydrated fruit I would dry them yourself 😊 they won't have the soft plump texture but it won't have the added sweetener to it.

      Lift weights, nuts/seeds and soy foods.

      @@DrLaurieMarbas I have been so confused. I have been told by RD's that if I eat nuts/seeds and avocado my LDL will continue to climb. That I must cut out all sources of sat fat even the healthy ones. Clearly I will drop more weight if I do that!

    I work overnight
    Go home sleep a little wake up lunch then nap then up for dinner I can’t seem to lose weight I’m 5 ft 2

      Start with a whole food plants diet then apply the other suggestions

    What calculation do you recommend to use to calculate calorie needs for waist loss?

      TDEE then subtract 100-200 calories.

    Exercise for 150 minutes??? That’s 2 1/2 hours a day!!! Do you mean 150 minutes per week?? You did not specify a time range. I hope it’s 150 minutes per week.
