I train pretty hard, eat well and still have trouble staying asleep, in menopause for about 10 yrs and my sleep just plain sucks. I get about 4 hrs a night..tossing turning…im hitting a wall
I’m so sorry. HRT might help
@@DrLaurieMarbas dr’s are against it
Had breast cancer 22 yrs ago
Wish I had that option
Magnesium lotion on your belly and thighs at night will help so much.
have u tried magnesium and melatonin?
I am sorry to hear about your troubles
What type of exercise do you do?
They say weight lifting and resistance training better for a good night's sleep than aerobic exercise
Maybe try that
Also deep breathing makes me sleepy!
Hope your sleep improves
My patch saved my life thank god for estrodot and utrogestan

Thank you so much for this video. I am well past menopause, but I am sharing this with my daughter and my three daughter-in -laws whom I love as daughters.
Glad it was helpful!
😂 You are so cute! I’m beginning menopause as well and I really appreciate you sharing so personally.
Ah! You’re welcome.
Thank you for covering this topic. There is a lot of info re peri/menopause recently on social media from female doctors, and I'm so glad to see it. However most are not WFPB so it's hard to know if their advice is relevant to those of us who are WFPO
Many of the docs are advocating for the use of HRT to protect against osteoporosis, dementia, & heart disease, even without symptoms. I am at a healthy weight, am WFPB (oil free) and my lipids/BP are healthy/low. Im 51 and likely in perimenopause (no symptoms yet). Does HRT make sense for someone like me to use simply to prevent future heart disease or osteoporosis? I do weight bearing exercise & get zone 2 cardio several times a week. My doctor is not open to this convo and dismisses HRT outright but is also not WFPB so I feel a bit on my own trying to figure all of this out!
I’m going to be doing more of it
@@M-SFO-PDX It depends if you think that you're body is malfunctioning when it goes into menopause or if it's a natural process and that your hormone levels are supposed to change over time.
Joint pain showed up over night!!! Shoulders and hips. Love to hear about your results.
I’ll talk about it soon. :)
We're just doomed! :0
