I have great admiration fo Ingrid Bergman. She was an amazing actress. I went to see Casablanca in the Stella Cinema, Rathmines , Dublin last Friday. Just brilliant 👏 Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘️
She was certainly the two things said by Richard Widmark and Peter Falk: a hell of an actress and a hell of a lady! No doubt there have been many, many wonderful actresses all over the years, but certainly, there has been only ONE Ingrid Bergman. They don't come like that anymore...
Great scene with Helen Hayes at the end of Anastasia when she tells her she used to cough when she was scared. Hayes then tells her it's true. You are the daughter of czar Nicholas Ii

I fell in love with this beautiful lady in Casablanca and followed her super career through her movies. She was one class act. A wonderful actress and human being. Seeing this video is a huge thrill.
She is my favorite actress of all time. Bar none. She has arguably the best filmography among all actresses, the First Lady of Hollywood in the 1940s, a hugely bankable star, and a critics and fan favorite.

I love how Ingrid comments on the home movies at the end of this show. She is really funny, especially when she talks of having to learn to talk again with a Swedish accent for Murder on the Orient Express.
Ingrid Bergman was an excellent, gifted actress. She won 3 Academy Awards. Notorious, Casablanca, Gaslight, Murder On The Orient Express etc. She is an actress at her own craft.

That was my feeling. In fact, I sent a friend the link to watch it and said, "the first 12 minutes is the "must see" part." Wonderful to see his same mannerisms (which, I'm sure he tried to repeat) I do wish they could have pulled in "Yvonne" and Joy Page who played the Bulgarian girl. They would have still been young.
Its hard to believe a decade of her career was shortened from 45 to 55 as she left the shores of America..despite that she would be arguably the greatest female artiste of all time anywhere in the world, with a body of work hard to match.
