HOW TO CONNECT UP A REVERSE CAMERA | BEGINNERS STEP BY STEP WALKTHROUGH TUTORIAL

wiring up the reverse camera can be slightly confusing but Ive filmed this step by step to explain it as simple as possible, I hope its easy to understand and I'm able to help a few of you. sometimes its just easier watching a video of someone doing it then the read a diagram

Hi Bia, awesome video, I just installed mine today exactly the same as yours, mine stays on for 5 seconds after going out of reverse so I might connect into the reverse lights and see if that makes a difference. Also the screen in my rear view mirror still shows for a while as a blue box for a short time, was yours the same? Regarding removing the lines from the camera view my instructions show that you have to cut one of the small wires at the camera end to do this, they must be hard wired into the camera, let me know if you would like a pic of that instruction.

[e-mail]. as for the reverse screen mine stays on for a few seconds aswell after I've switched it into drive but it's never bothered me so I haven't tried to solve it. But sorry my mirror reverse cam dosent go blue or turn on, Have you tried pressing the power button on the mirror so it turns it off?

Black wire to vehicle body or a bolt on the body. I would tap into the positive(red) wire of your reverse light to power the camera for the duration of the reverse process
