Nigel stopped it because he felt he couldn't be his wry, a$$hole, happy, judgy self as much as he wanted with Evelyn's "wokeness" and disagreements with his questionable views (masked in "comedy"). Although some are pretty funny!!
He started a new pod to keep the podcast light, unflitered, and on his terms. Which is fair enough.
They are very different people and their conflicting views was having an affect on their friendship. So they stopped it to saviour their friendship.
As a result I hope Evelyn is doing better and Nigel seems to be in his element.
