I'm just now realizing how the song during the montage at the end is sort of a goodbye to "Breakout", the usual outro theme, since it incorporates it's melody, before triumphantly turning into the theme song for Scott the Woz on G4, "Break In". Truly beautiful, not gonna lie, makes my heart heavy. It's bitter sweet.

37:36 - 38:15 The real reason Scott took an extended break before uploading this video is because all of these insane events happened in real life; it's honestly really sick that Scott ended the real life Barrel Blast curse just for our entertainment Nah, but really, loved how over-the-top and ridiculous this video's premise was, and I was thoroughly entertained by the actual review itself, wonderful return from your break!
The message at the end, for whatever reason, really needs to be taught more. How many times have you seen people get extremely heated over someone else enjoying Fortnite, or just liking literally *any* game that's disliked by most people? As for myself, I've seen it far too often.
I like the fact that Rex's reaction to the sight of Barrel Blast confirms that the game's virginity-repelling qualities aren't just Scott's own personal delusions, they're a well-known fact of life in the Wozverse. Yet it appears Fling Smash's self-lubrication is exclusive to Scott's own experiences, otherwise why would Kay Swiss have been caught off-guard by his Fling Smash stack being wet?
My jaw hit the floor when you mentioned Tube Slider. It's one of those games you could only really get exposed to during the "parents grab something random from the bargain bin on the way home" era. Like F-Zero but entirely in tubes, with a very strong futuristic atmosphere. Definitely check out the OST for a taste of it.

Tbh, at first I kinda of thought that Scott wouldn’t be making videos this year, since he hasn’t made in almost 4 months, but here we are now with a new video. He might be taking a while to make the 5 years in video for the Switch, but I’m also curious to see what other videos Scott might have this year!
Sad to hear Breakout gone but I think changing to a new original track was a great long term idea. Plus it’s actually a very catchy one which isn’t all too common for UA-camrs. Great work as usual Scott with another laugh out loud video.
Fun fact: Donkey Konga was Reggie’s most hated project. He thought it would diminish the brand but admitted being proved slightly wrong when he saw the sales. He personally tried to stop the project but was overruled.
The sad part is that he was right. Donkey Konga felt very cheaply made, its tracklist was made up of pretty mediocre covers and it did not appeal at all to the existing Donkey Kong fanbase while also doing little to get people invested in Donkey Kong as a brand. This whole era of Nintendo focusing on the bongo gimmick for its DK games did little to nothing to make fans of the DKC games happy (if not outright angering them by replacing the characters in Jungle Beat), while also making Donkey Kong feel like a cheap gimmicky Mario spinoff to new players. Even in spite of Retro Studios making a pair of AMAZING DKC games, the attitude towards DK nowadays has nowhere near as much reverence as it did in the 90's, and it's not hard to see that the bongo games are the biggest reason why.
@@DylanYoshi Donkey Kong could easily make a come back if Nintendo cared enough. Returns and Tropical Freeze are proof of that, but I dunno what Nintendo is doing over there. Probably starting work on the next Kirby or something.

This Montage gave me teary eyes and I am proud, dammit. The sadness of course is not over yet, but this Video really cheered me up. Thanks for everything Scott ! You are the best !
I love the fact that Scott's videos have so many and jokes and things of that nature that when he finally gets around to doing a video based on one of the games that's become a joke on the channel it feels like an event and not just another video.
It's almost as if they heard the "banging on the bottles like a chimpanzee" line from "Money for Nothing" and decided to make it into an entire racing game.

As fun as the skit heavy episodes are, I'm really enjoying the tight pacing of this one! It has the energy of early Scott the Woz but the polish of the later stuff: the best of everything up to now.
See the thing I like about AVGN is that he focuses mainly on funny gameplay with an occasional skit here or there, and though I like Nostalgia Critic and find his skits funny, I feel like they tend to go on for too long/ take up too much time. Scott has really gotten the balance down, his pacing is great.
I just realised… barrel-blast was the tipping point in Borderline forever. This is the culmination of 1 year of episodes, it’s extremely satisfying to have the episode about breaking these norms foreshadow the episode that embraces the norms. The prophecy was set up 1 year ago!
Scott, your writing in this episode is insanely intelligent and multilayered, I am really amazed by the complexity you managed to hide within a facade of adult humor, while still keeping the adult humor entertaining for the even broader audience. Things like that aren’t often appreciated

All in a video about a game where a monkey straps a rocket to his back to become number 1.
I find myself constantly thinking, "What is The Woz gonna do next? He's done everything!" And yet, here we are.
he still didn't make a video on the L button
he has yet to a wii u video similar to his other videos of other nintendo consoles
Super Mario 64
Still needs to do a *newer* review on 3D dot game hero's *(he's done it before but it's very old).
After Wii Music, Wii Play, and Wii Play Motion, he still has yet to make dedicated videos on the Wii Sports and Wii Fit games. I'd love to see that.
"Society may have lost its virginity but I'm here to find it." Over here I'm saying that Scott is the litteral embodiment of virginity
I had the virginity timeline all wrong. I thought virginity was a new and rising faction that is slowly taking over the world
Remember when that used to be a bad thing
The day when Scott has sex, is the day when no one will not have sex.
37:36 - 38:15 The real reason Scott took an extended break before uploading this video is because all of these insane events happened in real life; it's honestly really sick that Scott ended the real life Barrel Blast curse just for our entertainment
Nah, but really, loved how over-the-top and ridiculous this video's premise was, and I was thoroughly entertained by the actual review itself, wonderful return from your break!

The message at the end, for whatever reason, really needs to be taught more. How many times have you seen people get extremely heated over someone else enjoying Fortnite, or just liking literally *any* game that's disliked by most people? As for myself, I've seen it far too often.
I assumed it was about making fun of people for... not ever "having fun".

This is one of the best Scott branded continuity moments I have ever seen. It's so utterly amazing the amount of effort and nuance the upload of this video carries that it made me forget everything bad in my life. I don't f*cking care you didn't upload Switch: five years in because this... this is worth it. Sad to hear Breakout gone but I think changing to a new original track was a great long term idea. Plus it’s actually a very catchy one which isn’t all too common for UA-camrs. Great work as usual Scott with another laugh out loud video.
It feels like Scott is gonna go all-in on making this an online TV Show
Yeah, it’s sad but it had to happen since Scott is on G4 now.
Love that the new song is called “Break In” compared to breakout lmao
It starts as Breakout in the ending montage before transitioning into Break In.
The old one was waaaay better!
Fun fact: Donkey Konga was Reggie’s most hated project. He thought it would diminish the brand but admitted being proved slightly wrong when he saw the sales.
He personally tried to stop the project but was overruled.
@@Chad_Eldridge my source is that i made it the fuck up
It’s from a recent interview, I believe with X-play
@@DylanYoshi
Donkey Kong could easily make a come back if Nintendo cared enough. Returns and Tropical Freeze are proof of that, but I dunno what Nintendo is doing over there. Probably starting work on the next Kirby or something.
