I'm guessing that took a hell of a lot of manual pumping, maybe a battery operated pump might make it much easier but the tent does look great. It reminds me of the old-school canvas tents which are heavier and take much more effort to put up than the modern, parachute type material dome tents but offer much more headroom over the entire floorspace and a sense of solidity. In a way, you're lucky in the UK as far as camping in summer as you don't have to fear massive bushfires or venomous snakes and spiders in the bush/forest as we do in Australia but you seem to have so few state forests and fewer you're allowed to camp in. Plus and minuses, we cant have a campfire or many types of BBQ's in suburban areas let alone in the bush during summer due to Irish of starting a bush or grass fire and do you really want to be in the middle of the forest with bushfires being a high risk and if one occurs, you likely won't see it till its too late to get out of there. When we were young, (I'm almost 40) there wasn't the same risk. Bloody climate change and urban development preventing safely burning off.
I used to go camping with my brother. He passed away almost two years ago. Watching your videos remind me of him. He always had to have the little cool gadgets and gizmos. He never did anything small. I miss him so. Thanks for bringing back the good memories.

Do you think you could get a tent up in your yard? Or have some help to do so? You would be amazed at how fun it is since you said you can go out in the woods. Anyway. I hope you can do that someday.. It really helps your mental well being.
I'm in the same boat. Due to a back injury I am very limited on what I can do anymore. It sucks because I used to camp and do things like this a but just getting to the car anymore is a chore and takes everything out of me. Never thought of camping in the back yard. At least it's still sleeping under the stars.

Top gentleman. Peaceful and relaxing content. Rare that a UA-camr waits till the end of the video to provide discount codes and stuff. I like that you're just doing you.
Great vid,as much a cooking channel as anything else, great recipes
How did i just find you? I've been watching camping videos like this for years (Steve, Forest, etc) and you've never come up in my feed. Instant subscribe and likely binge for me!
Loved this one. Woodlands are awesome aren't they? I could hear a Blackbird singing his lovely song. Also the Yaffle of a Green Woodpecker. Robin too. Song thrush at the start of vid. We loved it. Thanks for taking us with you.😊😊 Loved what you cooked for dinner.
I love the fairy lights you look very cosy in your tent and comfy
I dream of making it to the UK and surrounding areas and now camping with this guy is on my list of what to do while there.
The tent looks nice, but the food looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing your camping with us.
You and Simon the bloke in the woods use are different class I'm from Scotland I've done camping outdoors all my life but use to are different class 👍
Now that's what i call glamping. Forget the mortgage, forget your rent i could live in that tent without any complaints (apart from the land Baron). Loving your videos 🤩

I've been watching your videos all morning. This one! This one has me relaxed and hungry. Great vlog!
That shot of the stove fire with the bear was so peaceful.
I throughly enjoyed the entire video. No dramatics, just basic informative useful information and entertainment. I’m looking forward to your next video and review. This one really opened my eyes up to the inflatable tents. Thank you for a very well done video. Great camping spot too.
Greetings from the USA. Just found your channel and I’m addicted!
Your camping experience is very calming.
Settling in for this one with my Cuppa tea 🍵
I'm a new subscriber (as of this week) and I just LOVE this mans energy. So nice. So likeable ❤
Tent is an absolute beast
Love the fairy lights ✨️ 😍 💛
I appreciate that you keep going out to camp and trying many different gear and types of camps. I'm really interested by that camping light, so much that I ordered one. The inflatable tent is a bit too big for my uses, but it's really interesting. Love how you do meals too.
If you follow the link he provided, there is one about half this size and frankly, I like the looks of it a lot. I may start myself a little slush fund 🙂
Get to camp with Andy again. Loving this camping trip. I love your setup. Always comforting. Home sweet home. Life at its best. 😂😊
I couldn't watch you or Simon's videos until today, but I'm so glad! I love when you break out Simon's saw! That's a massive tent! Cheers! 🍻
Dude, that tent is so dope. Ima look into this.
