It's insanely better watching normal people camping instead of the over-edited overly produced camping videos by some obnoxious UA-camr.... For people like me who can't go camping ourselves, it's nice to see these videos, it's almost like hanging out with someone and camping lol .....subbed! 👍😁
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Now days, I only get to camp in my dreams. This video is lovely! I can almost smell the campfire smoke in my clothes! 🥾🥾🥾🥾⛺️🏕
I'm also disabled since being a passenger in a car accident. Prior to that, we camped with our church and it was so much fun- all the kids playing together in a huge clearing - our tents circled the clearing, in the wooded area. Just a lovely area. So now, I'm enjoying these videos and all the fond memories that come with them!
I've been catching up on some of your past videos, I really love watching them. I'm a bit too old for camping and sleeping on the ground, but I've been a camper all my life, and now both my sons are wilderness campers. You demonstrate many new wonderful tools and equipment that I wish had been available in my day. One thing I very much appreciate in your videos is the quietness. ie: no silly background music. Thank you.
Thanks for these wonderful videos. I am partially disabled with a back injury and arthritis, so my mobility isn’t much to brag about. It’s great to watch your laid back style and simple approach to having a great time in the woods. You’ve inspired me to get back out there and start camping again!
I enjoyed this video so much. I’ve seen you camping in freezing cold and pouring rain. It was lovely to see you enjoying a bit of luxury. Carpet and slippers!
Never wanted to camp ever in my life until I saw this incredible neat and cozy set up! I didn’t know how many clever equipments that exist to make a comfortable camp. I suffer from chronic migraine and my health depends on a good night sleep. I can definitely sleep there. I want to go camping 🥰 I’m so impressed. Nice video😊
Indeed, I've stayed in worse hotels 😁😁Looks so cosy, he's got slippers, pillows, tables. Sleep is so amazing out in the wild if your warm, dry and have a full belly. The problem is though carrying it all to and from the car if its a good walk.
@@pauldavidhaynes8243 Haha, yeah! It’s the human being thing for me. Not the human doing.. The simplicity and chill atmosphere, and the fact that you have to plan your day depending on the weather forecast. Phone down. It’s okay to park the car next to the camp because you can go hiking and leave the camp for some hours. Looking for a bell tent and stove as we speak😂
Wonderful video Andy, makes this old lady feel very nice and proud of you. Great job you did young man. Really makes me miss camping, when my husband was alive, in our younger days we went almost every weekend...really miss those days 😢 Thank you for sharing and giving me back some good old memories. Made my night here. Blessings to you dear boy.🙏✝️💜
I'll have to remember the bushcraft handbag. I've got a similar one for my fireplace in my house. I live in a rural area of Texas, USA, and we have gotten a few very unexpected freezing nights without electric heat. The fireplace makes it comfortable. We have a bush/small tree weed that grows here called youpon. My goats love to eat the leaves, while I cut the branches for firewood. It keeps the woods under control somewhat, feeds my critters, and warms me.
Those stove fans are a godsend. We have a wood stove in the house we rent, and it used to be hard to heat the whole house in winter because of the odd layout of the rooms. But we purchased a fan for ours and it made a HUGE difference. Despite it's deceptively small size, it silently circulates heat even to the back rooms of a 1400+ square foot house, and allowed us to use less wood through the winter. One of the best investments we ever made. I can only imagine how well it circulates in a small space like a tent. Speaking of tents, yours is gorgeous -- I could happily live there. :D
Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.
How cosy! I really enjoyed watching this in my caravan with the rain pattering on the roof above me. I love the way you film, it's as though we're with you. Thank you 🙏
This is really cozy camping! The setup is awesome! His attitude is so pleasant, cheerful, I just sit back and enjoy! Thank you for my mini vacation!!💜💜💜
I wish more people could create valid entertainment of subject materials as i witness here. Its important that all the background music never be present, thus enabling better hearing and interpretation. So truely enjoy your content of Camping accessories and meal preps including the many brews for the pallet.
I like these long hour+ videos. The outdoor ones, not the q&a ones. Very relaxing to lose yourself in the campsite you're at. Winter is nice because it changes between videos from snowy, then not, then snowy again. 👍👍
This is the camping video i've been waiting for!! Somebody FINALLY bringing carpet. Oh man your setup is so badass! Power inverter, stove, real bed...slippers!! I wish it were snowing. This is my favorite camping video 😊😊😊

Had to put down my childhood dog yesterday. This video helps me deal with the grief slightly. Edit for people who want to know: He was a 13 year old Border Collie. Sweetest dog you'd ever meet.
I'm sorry about your companion. I've got an almost 10 year old border collie who guards my goats, my land, and me. They are wonderful companions - better than many humans I've known.
So very very sorry for the loss of your beloved pup. I do know how bad that hurts. They take a bite out of your heart and take it with them. So sad with you.
Proper stakes, those ones! Good to see you go into the woods 'heavy' once in a while. My younger brother 'camped like a Pasha' when he joined us. He claimed that if he didn't take ALL of his pillows, the ones he left behind 'got the sulks' and went all lumpy on his return.
This is double murder. I'm really hungry after watching Simon's video cooking lasagna and now here is Andy doing a camping trip and we expect that he cook also some delicious food 😋👍🇵🇭
Have camped in Canada over 60 years. Impressed with your camp set up. Here there are so many beautiful places to camp amongst the moose, bears etc. Algonquin Provincial Park is very. popular. Close to the size of England. Thanks for sharing.

Ah love this!!’ I finally got to use my first ever canvas tent this summer, since I was a kid. Have always camped, but not in a bell tent till this year. Loved it, but they are a lot of work to dry. Really nice video. Every time I see you using your oven I get an itch to get one. Thank you Andy. Great video.

Wow. Thank you so much for this content. This is such an awesome escape from the day to day. And it's beautiful watching the enjoyment you gain out of learning your setup. I only saw one thing to make advice on so hear it is... You commented that the stove only runs for a short amount of time before dieing out. You can absolutely get 5 to 6 hours of burn time out of it if you will almost close the damper on the front below the dore, as well as choke the damper built into the chimney. I'm pretty sure you and I have the same stove, but the concept applies to any wood stove. I have the woodland medium. You may find better longer lasting heating from the stove this way. Again thanks for the videos, and I just subscribed.
I have a four season life under canvas bell tent with stove and I have lived in the tent for 18 months and would not be out of it spacious and yes hard work to maintain but it worth it. I love watching this video and seeing all the little bits and bobs great video and have got a lot of ideas
Cool! A tent with a living room/dining area with comfortable flooring to walk on when you have left your outside boots at the door. Best of all it really doesn’t take up the entire back of the car.
Another great video Andy. Really appreciate the way you capture your experience on the camera. We can all go camping from our beds and not lift a finger.
Yes... a LOT of work ... especially alone... and for only a couple of days. .. but so nice to watch.... It must be really nice to BE there Thanks for sharing :D
I love watching your stuff, it chills me out,& living in a town & not being able to travel at the moment, I miss not getting out in the woods,so I'm doing it via you! Lol Keep up the good work.
i truly love your videos, i would be comfortable sharing that type of tent, talking on the videos is so much better than not. always be safe and take care
Hey Andy, I gotta say man, I appreciate what you do and what you put out. Started from the beginning and finally caught up. Wife laughs because all I do every night is watch bushcraft, so much so, that she even sat up one night and said "hey it's Andy, what's on the menu today" followed by, " you are gonna cook me that when we go camping right??" Haha, thought you would get a kick out of that. Lol, keep doing what you do pal
I love this tent❤️ I have seen many others that you have used. The second best tent would be the Russian bear tent. I even loved the stove as well. My son likes the tent because he can stand all the way being so tall and such.
Hello Andy. That tent is just awesome. When I was a kid, my parents bought large canvas tent who had a bell- end. (Joke as you may) but it was a brilliant tent and the smell of canvas was stunning. I really enjoyed my youth and my family camping trips. The highlight of those trips was waking up in the to the smell of bacon and eggs frying coming from al over the camp site.
I loved this video and the cool stuff you had. I love the joy you get when you are cooking something, then eating it...am I weird I hope not, I just enjoy your videos. So happy you had a bit of camping luxury. Keep up the good work!
Luxury, wow that inner carpet!! 😎 I take on board the fact you couldn’t put all that kit up for an overnighter. I Gravitated to an 8 man trailer tent, the beauty of it was an inner cover which hid all the tent poles and incorporated curtains for the windows, this added immensely to the time constructing but was brilliant when done say for a week or two. The tent was 7 meters long, and could be extended by a further 3 meters, yeah a grand old raclet, had many great holidays in that thing with the kids, gives them an immense freedom. We cheated a bit by running power to the tent, so had a fridge and heater? Loved it lived it, just got too old, and to a point where we wanted an inside loo, if you get my drift. Keep up the great work Andy, it stirs so many memories for me, love the channel👍👍

Cool! A tent with a living room/dining area with comfortable flooring to walk on when you have left your outside boots at the door. Best of all it really doesn’t take up the entire back of the car.
Look forward to see you and Simon together over night camp 💯👍
Another great video Andy. Really appreciate the way you capture your experience on the camera. We can all go camping from our beds and not lift a finger.
OMG!!! This setup is awesome!!! Love it!
Yes... a LOT of work ... especially alone... and for only a couple of days.
.. but so nice to watch.... It must be really nice to BE there
Thanks for sharing :D
I love watching your stuff, it chills me out,& living in a town & not being able to travel at the moment, I miss not getting out in the woods,so I'm doing it via you! Lol
Keep up the good work.
i truly love your videos, i would be comfortable sharing that type of tent, talking on the videos is so much better than not. always be safe and take care
You have one cozy tent . It really us an up grade from the other tents and tarps. Thanks for sharing.,!!!!!!
I love watching you camp learn all kinds of stuff
