These are excellent tents, I went with a Winnerwell stove and had to remove the rings as the chimney is ever so slightly bigger. How did you like the stove? I thought having the flue coming out of the front would be in the way for cooking. That flue gets hot and is a potential to get yourself burned being right in front. It gets hotter than hell with my stove. I still need to do some more testing on my tent and stove set up. Those Russians sure can make a high quality tent. What did you think about the stove? I just thought having a hinged door with a wide square opening with a window was more practical with the adjustable combustion air door. You can't go wrong with these tents. Have a great day!

Bigos is an old traditional dish here in Poland. In theory it should be a vege dish since mainly served on Christmas Eve dinner. I prefer it done mostly from sour cabbage instead of fresh one. Good to make it on ribs, with a proper amount of kielbasa and forest mashrooms. By the way if you grind bigos it can be used as stuffing in pierogi (same - used during Christmas). Indeed winter food :) Thanks Andy for awesome content!

Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.

Wow what an amazing tent ⛺ 👏 it's definitely one of the best I've ever seen. Very well made and they have thought of everything when it comes to design. The stove is ok but a little big for the tent. Your smaller stove is better suited and I like the design better with the oven. You should compile a campsite cookbook with all your delicious recipes! I've been asking but haven't had an answer-what has cooked that is complicated enough to need a recipe? Steak, fried potatoes and sauteed asparagus? Great meal, I love that he cooks from scratch but do you really need:
Peel and cut up potatoes, put them in water and set to boil. Cook until mostly soft-add to preheated skillet with some oil, cook until brown.
Etc...oil and season a steak. Add to skillet next to potatoes, cook as desired.

The tiny vent near the back of the stove is for a butane gas line to feed into the tent and used with a gas heater. With the bulk tank stored out side the tent. Many American ice fishing tents have these. Great video. Big fan.

Your taste in tableware is profoundly nostalgic.
I purchased a set of similar ware in Denver's biggest surplus store during 1975 when I was first setting out with permanent camping in the western US. I used a Cold Handle in those days. Swedewoods uses one here--- I saw another practitioner who does, too. They nested--- the blue-rimmed enamelware and the frying pan. I still have that stuff in my picnic hamper.

The company’s tents, stoves, and accessories are awesome you could spend month’s camping and never want to come back to a city, great video first time I have ever seen a tent like this, wondering when Simon will have a chance to experience it

Thanks for sharing the woodcrafting od the table in this. You werent happy with the result, so could have cut the whole thing from the video, but I found the steps to be really interesting. A challenging creative medium, the log!

I love when I cut wood and look at the rings thinking "I am the only person on the planet ever to set eyes on this". Even better when I split a rock.

Awsome tent Andy, what a great piece of kit, literally thought of everything by the looks of it and your cooking as per usual was top knotch. And Simon was camping with a Swiss Army knife……😁👍🏻

That tent is a lot of work for two nights but looks well worth a week or two during the shoulder seasons. Love a good cot - that is luxury. Craving that stew! Thanks, Andy.

That is a SICK tent! I'm surprised you don't use it more but I do realize it and the stove are darn heavy and it's been summer. I hope you can get out in it this winter again. I live in southern california where it's totally impractical so I will live vicariously through your videos and imagine how cozy it is in the cooler months.

Thats an Awesome shelter Andy, I saw Lonny a chap in Alaska has one of these, what a superb shelter if a little on the heavy side. I'm getting into a bit of Hot tent camping at the moment, but just a little bit lighter weight:) Everything about this setup is top draw apart. Year round comfort:) Sandy

Youre not wrong Sandy.. it was an amazing set up, those russians sure know how to deal with there siberian winters haha.
Hot tenting is a great thing isnt it.. playing with the stove helps pass those long winter nights.
I got your other comment... ill have to email you, it would be great to arrange something.. maybe for the new year.

My folks on my dads side was timber working people , dad broke out in the oilfield. But I was tought how to slit a stick of firewood, the method you use is very hard on yourself, our chopping axes , mostly are double but axes . They're very sharp, the way bushcraft shows to sharpen the single bits , are sharpened like a metal cutting chisel, our hunting and timber axes are sharpened like a straight rasor. Someplace ive a old axe sharpen your style , I used then for nothing but splitting sticks of stove wood . I've busted stove wood a meter across, with I check on the back side of the stick , and 1 on the side near me and never hit the ground or a chop block below . Its something my dad and grandpa tought me how to . I'm just 64 , but I watched and listened to my folks.

Too heavy, too complicated, is for camping or for moving and live permanently in the woods? An the pattern colors are a risk in hunting areas, but...looks resistant and the estructure design for me is new. Nice video very informative
