You can buy extremely durable hard plastic discs for the feet of your chairs feet from a motorcycle dealer. I use to use them to stop my motorcycle side stand digging into into the ground and falling over. They are ideal for chair feet 👍

No sudden loud music or irritating noises and I know I'll be able to fall asleep watching the video. Many times I think damn I missed the cooking part lol😅 and then continue watching the next day. Cheers from Alabama, USA. Loved this adventure and will definitely check out Hello Fresh. I know carry space is limited on camp outings. However, tennis balls cross cut at one end to push the chair feet into, helps us prevent our camp chairs from sinking. When they do get muddy, they are easy to rinse in the stream and shake dry for repack in the chair bags. Even though we have gone through several chairs, the tennis balls are hanging in there nicely.

I did it in a studio flat with a huge tipi bigger than this (canvas is harder) but I had a mezzanine floor with stairs to hang it on, you couldn’t move around for a few hours but still. Just wanted to share how much you & your channel have inspired me! I’ve been camping for years-from being a Girl Scout decades ago, to joining my son when he was a Boy Scout, or my ex who also loves camping. This past summer I did my first overnight alone, and have done 2 more in shelters, 2 days each. I prefer more primitive or “roughing it” camping though, and I recently ordered a new tent and more arriving tomorrow! I don’t have all the same brands etc you have in England, but I’ve splurged on a new 4-season hot tent, a portable wood burning stove, a portable fire pit, and a more expensive and hearty inflatable mat. Last year I bought a new Jeep Gladiator, so drive up camping is a breeze. I also have 2 big pups and one is elderly and arthritic but loves camping and I’m not sure how many years he has left, so for now drive up is a must because I want him to live his absolute best life to the end. I’ve posted about recipes you’ve inspired me on (the blueberry French toast pot is the best) but your videos with more substantial tents and wood burning stoves have convinced me I can totally do that too! I’ve been single now for a bit, and actually am really learning to love solitude in nature. But as a woman in the American northeast, I do have to be wary of bears, wolves, coyotes, and venomous snakes… I’m proper jealous of the more limited predators in the UK!
In any case I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are to both experienced and inexperienced campers! Your videos are great! I started watching maybe a year ago but I’ve backtracked years of your videos. It doesn’t hurt that I’m borderline obsessed with the UK in general because I’m also a history buff, and could listen to your accent for hours! But I’ve truly learned so much! So thank you!
My new kit comes tomorrow and this weekend I will test out the setting up in my backyard. The following weekend me & my pups are headed to our first weekend camping using the new gear, here on Long Island where I live, on the east end near the Peconic bay. Long Island thankfully does not have any true predators, but also doesn’t have many truly rustic wilderness camping-especially when summer hits and the vacations start. But it’s a good more safe way of starting out with the new kit before heading upstate into the mountains. I’ve already made arrangements for camping at least 1x a month for the next 6 months!
Again thank you for the inspiration and motivation!!!

I absolutely love your videos and have been watching for about a year and a half maybe 2 years now. It's the whole meal cooking at camp that got me hooked as thats what my friends and I do when we go out. This fast edit though I must say was a great change of pace. It's nice to see the unedited mistakes, just puts out to the world that youtubers aren't perfect in everything they do and are foulable human beings like the rest of us! Hope to see more like this in the future!

I've got the 4 season quezer sleeping bag, seems good quality and ridiculously warm, especially for the UK. Loses quite a bit of down but for the price it seems decent. 👍
