I've recently acquired a 2021 Rocket 3 Triple Black which also has just had its annual service plus fitted with a quick shifter. It's an awesome bike and the quick shifter really adds to the fun factor 👍😁
Nice 👍🏼 video - just 2 points: 1) it’s not like riding any other bike, it’s much much better… 2) be careful, you were on the wrong side of the road the entire video!!
Thanks for your support. I agree, it's definitely like riding any other bike until you twist that throttle, and it's like no other bike. I still cannot get my head around having this bike put into production. Also, if one is not happy with the torque, there is a bolt-on supercharger kit now available. It's an amazing bit of kit. Regarding the wrong side of the road, hahahaha, you are making me smile all day. 🙂 Ride and stay safe.
@@TheEarlster haaaaa - I had two of the older Rockets and that was enough torque for me back then with TORS and a Power Commander V, but I got intrigued by the new generation and just like the 2300 cc’s I had to have 2500 cc’s 😉. I’m pretty happy with the horse power, torque, and handling!
mine is about 16000km .quality is good .but I had a transmission spring replaced 😢. otherwise is very good muscle bike. may keep it for long time. unique riding feelings on rocket🎉
Funny you should say that, I only visited Triumph to browse on the adventure bikes, I ended up taking the rocket for a test ride love it and bought this one, happy days ever since😊
Actually really better then I thought, as long as I'm not throwing her into double bends with tight corners it’s all good. It did took a while to adjust my riding technique to accommodate 😊
You need to focus on eyes looking where you want to go and use the clutch and rear brake to control. But it turns beautifully. The torque means you can be very slow when needed but always in balance. It's a wonderful bike.
3 quick questions. First, if you had to do it all over again would you chose this bike or the suzuki hayabusa? Secondly, how is the reliability of this bike compared to any other bike that you may have had; for example, have you had any mechanical or electrical issues ? Lastly, is there any kind of 'rear wheel' stand for the Rocket 3R/GT ?
Hello, great questions, ok 1st - Rocket 3 R any day, why? well the looks (including attention to detail), engine soundtrack with exhaust overruns characteristic sold it for me, 2nd - So far pretty good just a kick stand spring and issue with key fob, which was just a replacement battery, but to be honest, I do not ride it every day when compared to the 2015 Suzuki 750GSR I had, this bike was the most reliable bike ever, 3rd - Not seen anything, but I'm guessing there is no rear wheel stand out there to support the weight being it’s single sided, but I’m leaning towards the big Blue motorcycle lift eventually, thanks for watching.
Hi I have a Rocket GT and the dealer told me not to lift the bike up with a jack like you have demonstrated they say that you will damage the internals of the sump if you will look in your manual on lifting you will see that it has 3 lifting points to lift the bike up I'm not telling you not to lift it is your bike do what you will but just saying please Google it you will see.
Vivian, what is the best way to lift the rocket 3R/GT rear wheel so that if a person wanted to clean their rear tire(or even their front tire) they can easily do so?
fingers crossed - just to add, it does soften the blow knowing the dealership has provided an excellent service, always seem to have time for me, I hope that do not change,
@@TheEarlster my nearest is 247 miles away from me and schedules out at least 8 days. We'll see how the service is. Oh, and I called, going to be $320ish USD.

agree, definitely the quick shifter is that golden cherry on top, may become standard on the next rocket evolution👍

Total Envy, Beautiful Bike, Thanks for video.
Great.
I have a 2020 Rocket 3 R that I purchased used with less than 1000 miles. I’m really digging the bike.
Nice one mate, it's an work of art and addictive cruiser, it won't be long before you double that mileage for sure, thanks for watching.

wow transmission spring replaced, lets hope that was the last issue, ok thanks for sharing this info,
Lovely bike, this might get me off my adventure bikes soon (got the 2023 Tiger R1200 Rally Explorer). I'll get the GT if I get one.

I'm curious about one thing. How well does the Rocket turn with the big front tire?

£385 ! Mine's due for its 1 year service next month. I was not expecting that kind of price 😮! Maybe its cheaper here in the states? Probably not.
