I installed one of these today on a 32" door and you do not need to cut the top and bottom tracks. The track slides all the way into the part you a calling a stopper but it does take some fiddling to get it to fit. You also didn't put the sill plate on which helps reinforce the bottom track and slightly reduces the tripping hazard.
I’ve been watching a lot of installations of this door. I can’t tell from anyone’s videos, but is the bottom of the screen secure in the track? Im wondering if a cat could push their way through, or if it would keep one out…thanks!
These are identical to the Anderson Luminaire retractable screen doors I install all the time. Once you get it down, it takes longer to remove the packaging than it does to install the unit. 😂
regarding your trip hazard.. I watched another video with what looked like the same retractable screen door. Theirs had a kick plate at the bottom.. almost like a ramp to prevent you from tripping on it. maybe yours got lost?
All I keep seeing is the last cabinet not straight at the bottom with your other cabinets. Thank you for the video. Edit. The handrail is nice if you painted that and steps... Id never have known.
Silly to put a lock on it. I have one on my patio door. Not sure why you would put one in the garage though unless to leave to garage door open for fresh air. Next project , make that step a little easier for egress and ingress 😂

Thanks bud. I'm gonna give it a go.
No problem! You got this!
Thank you so much for this thorough review, it really helped me decide what to buy!
You are so welcome! Keep in mind that you have to step over the bottom track. It could become a trip hazard, but you will get used to it. Take care!
I’m glad I watched your video because I didn’t realize there’s metal to trip on.

Have the same type just the Larson brand. Very identical. Great POV for installation.

I gotta hit up Harbor Fright 😂😂
😂
you're lucky it's not the mrs. who almost got tripped, otherwise .. 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 The irony! She is the one that wanted a retractable screen 😂😂😂😂
This looks identicle to Brissa Larson. How do you get threshold to fit existing threshold? Where are your reviews. Is this a tripping hazard?
I actually don't prefer retractable screen doors because gravity defeats them.
Dude a tripping hazard is a huge issue
