You’re very welcome & Thank you for watching!!! 20/20 hindsight I wish I just assembled completely on the floor & I wish they had mentioned loosening the 3 screws to allow the tracks to slide in 🤦🏻♂️ That said, I’m enjoying the door & was well worth the effort.
Awesome! Glad it helped. I'm horrible at reading instructions & even went back to make sure I didn't miss a step. There's no way that was going to slide in there without loosening those screws. Enjoy the screen.
Hello Will, want to give you an update on my project. I finally installed my retractable screen door and thanks to you it went extremely well. I really appreciate your help/video with this. I had to cut off an inch and a half but other than that it went well. Please take care and much love to you from Southern California. ❤️🥰❤️
That’s great Paul! I was sure I’d have to cut mine but got super lucky that it fit the minimum width out of the box. Thanks for letting me know & I’m glad it helped.
Thank you for sharing your video. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a retractable screen door and thanks to you, I’ll be purchasing mine from Costco. Your video will be my guide for installation. Take care and thanks again. 😊
You’re welcome! And thank you for the kind comment. I still love my screen door. It’s great leaving the door open & having the sounds of the outdoors but not the bugs 😉 Definitely get it from Costco and make sure you loosen those 3 screws on the end.
this was great. thank you. is your door frame wood or metal? just curious. *you are the first youtuber i've seen use recorded material from a camera in eyeglasses. very cool
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! It’s wood trim under vinyl cladding. I couldn’t believe how perfect it fit. I just wished I assembled it completely in my kitchen floor first. Live and learn 😉
I’ve been watching a lot of installations of this door. I can’t tell from anyone’s videos, but is the bottom of the screen secure in the track? Im wondering if a cat could push their way through, or if it would keep one out…thanks!
That’s a good question. Unfortunately a determined cat or any animal could work its way under the bottom. The screen tension is the only thing to keep it out. It’s high tension but still won’t keep an animal out that’s wants to come in.
I truly appreciated your video. I bought the same door at Costco and you hints saved me time and aggravation.

I'm buying them now. Your well documented mistakes will help me a lot, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the installation video! Installed it today! Unscrewing the 3 screws on each corner to install the tracks saved me time and frustration.

U saved my a55! A “loosen screw sticker” is mandatory! Tgank u
Awesome! Glad that helped. I thought I was doing something wrong. And yes, a simple yellow sticker on each corner would go a LONG way.
Nice video. Thanks.
Thank you!

For the cottage!
Thanks for watching!
Sooooo...I'm watching with a friend and she says, "why didn't he just open that huge window that is right next to the door?" She may be banned! LOL
😂😂😂
How is it hoilding up after 3 months?
Great! We’ve had unseasonably cool weather in DC so I’ve used it quite a bit. No problems at all.
