Best home gym DIY channel on UA-cam! I can't believe I'm just now finding you. I like to see this because I have some ideas of my own I plan to try for a trolley system; not sure if they'll all pan out, but: V-groove rollers against the corners of the upright not the flats (because a V shaped corner in a V shaped wheel is self-aligning; you could tighten the rollers to hundreds of PSI and it wouldn't prevent the trolley from gliding). Brackets made from laser cut pieces of steel plate oriented horizontally, but in L-shapes so you don't have to remove the cross pieces to slide over the post (the L-shapes would be screwed together in an alternating stack to make a square bracket with square hole). Lever arm able to be adjusted horizontally so instead of coming out at 90 degrees to the rack could be angled in or out. Lever arm axis able to be tilted as well. (Like how a compound bevel miter saw can be adjusted to both bevel and miter in a cut.) Point of all that is to make a leg press attachment that can be adjusted for maximum ergonomics.
This is incredibly impressive that looks very heavy duty
Great video! You are very creative. You have a talent building this stuff. You can probably sell this if you can make more of it. Easier said than done though. Keep up the good work. It’s very informative
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Great job! Suggestion for future project - something like the Bully Glyder. Since that's essentially a weight trolley, I think it would require nylon or similar rollers instead of rubber because you want it to glide nearly effortlessly, which isn't required for a trolley bracket.
Great build man. Excited to see where this can go
Brilliant design and make! I'm impressed
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
You are a legend - this is so good!!!
Thanks, Right on!!!
Nice video as always! I really appreciate your ideas and creativity
Thank you very much!
Ty 🎉
Love it! Would love to see a Jammer arm attachment for your trolley
You are going to
Impressive 👍
Thanks 👍
Not sure why it's so hard for a company to do something like this, and sell it separately from their "system". I can't really do a DIY because I don't have a house, and good luck finding an apartment that will let you have fire anywhere near it.
I've contacted REP and StrayDog, and they won't sell separately from their system.
I've contacted Prime, but I never get a reply after they send me to "another person"
Rogues only swivel version is bolted onto the rack for some reason.
Not sure who else would make a 3x3" Trolley system for a rack mounted functional trainer :/
I noticed that Rogues was bolted... If I had that... I would be able to attach it the new attachment I'm making for this (third video in this series) (I'll show progress pics on instagram)
Yup, can't find a trolley anywhere to purchase and experiment with on a 2x3 or 3x3 rack.
Have you thought about creating a functional trainer add-on for folding racks with this trolley and a few pulleys? The Rep fitness Ares/Athena 16" half racks are about the closest someone can get using minimal space but still having a power rack + functional trainer. But having a folding rack with the same ability would be killer for space savers. Have it use a loading pin for vertical weights to continue with the small footprint. Thoughts?
could you explain or make some vids about how to work with uhmw (cut, drill, what glue to stick it to steel, etc)?
Good idea, I’ll get on that in the near future
hi, have you done a resistance test with the jammer arms? Doesn't it move too much from left to right?
Do you have a plan or drawing of this design?
can you make me a set of those? how much would you sell em for
I need this!!!! Are you planning on selling one?
I want to make one.
do it!!!!
hi, what diameter are the rollers? THANKS
