- Though it's not exactly a DIY smith machine, it gives off a lot of the same vibes. This project cost me less than $30 in materials and took less than 30 minutes to make.

This is one of the better DIY options I have seen especially if you already own lever arms. Seems like an easy build with lots upside
I agree 100%
That is a game changer. Adds a lot of variety with a little notification.
It is definitely one of my new favorites
One of the best Diy ideas I have ever seen!
Thank you so much! It is definitely one of my favorites!
Very cool inexpensive project to add a lot of variety 👏🏻
It is one of my favorites!
I love you easy projects like this!! Nice!
Love you too buddy
Something I am definitely going to try. Thanks!
Awesome, let me know how you like it
Love your videos/channel. I was close to making your seal row pad. But my table saw is buried also. So I just went with reps utility pad and love it. The removable pad is really nice
One of the biggest downsides of owning a table saw but I hear that Rep’s pad is a great alternative
I haven’t been as into my Nemesis bar as expected. So once I’m able I’ll have to give this a shot. Cool idea.
Yeah? I actually had to choose between either keeping the nemesis bar or the Kadillac bar, and I sold the Kadillac bar. I like how the nemesis bar is lightweight, makes it more versatile
Love the ideas. And the safety first was great 😂
Thanks man! Gotta keep things interesting
Another great idea for the home gym community Bro . El Kaiser is on fire 🔥 lol 😂 thanks Brother
Thanks bro!
What an value packed incredible video. !!!
Thanks! I’m glad you like it!
@@KaizenDIYGym does anyone make 2.3” 60mm lever arms ? The ones from bells of steel don’t have the sliders and angle adjusting.
Just found your channel, combination of my two favourite things woodwork and gym 😊 Subscribed 👍
Awesome, thank you!
@@KaizenDIYGym I have a similar set up in my garage, so half workshop and half gym 👍
Great video!
Thanks so much, I am glad you enjoyed it!
The warning segment is awesome lol
Thanks! I make mistakes all the time. Might as well use those clips to entertain other people
Great job as usual! But the holy grail is integrating a full DIY smith machine into a rack, that would be pretty awesome (just pitching ideas here).
Bells of Steel recently announced a smith machine kit, looks pretty sweet
I like it! Could this cause instability in the rack at higher weights especially at the bottom of the squat?
Kyle, In one of the hack squat movements in the video I see you rounding your back somewhat. How does it feel on your back doing hack squats against the rack with a heavy load? My big reason for doing hack squats is to protect my back and put more emphasis on my quads. Thanks for exploring these low cost home gym solutions. I just don't have room for a hack squat machine in my small gym.
That’s the one thing about this vs a dedicated hack squat machine. There is no back support on this one.
Those complimentary Bulletproof strips are so awesome! Have you used them much since getting them?
No, I haven’t tested them out much yet. I need to set aside some time to really test them out.
Is there a diy version for those who doesn't have the rack? It looks so cool and I wanna do it

This video has some good ideas
Where did you find the bar catches that fit the 3” x 3” jammer arms for the hack squat setup? All I can find similar to yours are by Body Solid but those are for 2” x 2” racks.
Also, loving your jammer arm attachment!
Those are the band pegs that came with my Rep Rack
Hi I want the same on your video here can I got my self one of those
Hi, What’s the brand of the rack arms?
I have the Rogue 2.0 short arms
What can be HDPE alternative? It's not available locally in my place.
Can I use rubber mat?
UMHW or some other type of hard plastic. Rubber would have too much friction.
This man is a motherfucking genius LOL
I appreciate you saying that
$@$#$%$#$%%$&%^* UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOLOL so far behind !!!!! THANKS K !!! ( power washed/ing so far 3 hours straight so far, ) PLEASE Forget about leg pressing . YOUR design is great , JUST do leg presses DEAD LAST no matter what ( lower body needs ot be 100 % ready to go for flexabilty 2 sets 8-12 reps or 3 sets of 5-8 reps.
Glad you like it buddy!
