Mikey- I have been using a stitch similar to this for over 40 years and I don’t know the name of it. It’s very easy, but oooh so pretty.!It’s just - sc and dc into the same stitch, skip a stitch, sc and dc into same stitch, skip a stitch, ....... continue across. It makes a cute stitch a bit like c2c. Thanks in advance!!

This is a fabulous pattern for beginning crocheters like me! I just finished my first stroller blanket in this pattern last night, and I am so happy with it. It only took me a few nights using super bulky Bernat Baby yarn, while watching tv. I love how easy it is to track the stitches when using just a single and double crochet stitch.. Thank you Mikey, your explanations are the best.

Thank you Mikey for showing us this beautiful pattern. I've made many wonderful blankets with this pattern. Everyone loves them! Now I'd like to try a Rectangle Pebble Stitch Blanket by going around and around instead of back and forth. Can you do a video using the Pebble stitch going around as a rectangle?

With you using a size H hook with Caron one pound I'm thinking that using a smaller and then recommended hook for the yarn creates more texture in the blanket using this pattern? I love this Stitch and made of baby blanket using it. Since the body of the blanket was only one color I wanted there to be some texture to make it comfy and give a visual interest. This Stitch Works beautifully! I just put a border of white tulips around the hot pink blanket body and then did my border in the same color as the blanket. This is so easy considering how much you get out of it! And my sides don't shrink or grow either as my blanket progresses. Thank you so much Mikey for everything you have taught us over the years!

I learned how to crochet 45 years ago when I took Home Economics in 7th grade, I learned by being a pattern but for some reason I absolutely cannot read a pattern any longer, I can still read them and understand them but reading them and then crocheting them I cannot do! I have to have the visual input now, what can I do to get past that mental block???? BTW, this is one of my favorite patterns and it makes lovely blankets and scarves!!

Mikey, I learned to crochet the foundation row like you; go into two loops then crochet your stitch. Whereas, many tutorials I have watched they only go into one loop in the foundation chain. Why? Does it make a difference other than number of loops to go thru when crocheting border?

I noticed that you don’t go through the single loop of the chain on the foundation chains. When you go through, you go under two strings instead of just one like I normally see. I hope you understand what I mean. Is there a reason for this? I did notice that there are hump like loops on the backside of that row. Just wondering if there’s a specific reasoning for not going through the chain the way I usually see it. I hope I explained that to where you can understand. Thank you for your tutorials. You do a great job at teaching!
