I just completed my first week as a eBay card seller I just found your videos tonight I did not know the shipping cost on a PWE can go low as $.63. Thank you for sharing that I adjusted all of my listings.
I enjoyed the video and learned some new things even though I have been selling cards for 6 years. Thanks for taking the time to put this video out. :)
This is good content and some great advice. One thing I’d like to caution people about is worrying about each card sale and analyzing why you don’t make a profit if you didn’t. Most cards are bought in lots were some will be more then the average and some will be less. Yes it’s good to know your cost per card when listing so you can get an idea if you will be profitable and how low of offers you want to take. But really if you take your sales vs the lots your bought it will better for you to really analyze the most important aspect of reselling your buying of the items. As you acknowledge if you not profitable you can’t do it for long or scale. Also giving away free things on eBay rarely will return the customer retention your looking for compared to providing a high level of customer service that will truly set yourself apart from others selling the same card as you. eBay constantly puts my listings as the first result because of this. I ship same day I am responsive to offers sympathetic to problems and create win win solutions for myself and buyers. All of this eBay loves and will help organically promote your listings.
Good tips thanks for watching! I’ve found that a lot of it comes back to sourcing inventory and finding the right cards at the right price..which is increasingly harder to do it it’s just through eBay. But I’ve been finding some more ways to keep those costs down. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks! Very close to monetizing the channel and will probably start adding membership tiers where I include items like this with different tiers. Hoping in the next couple of months! Thanks for asking!
Thanks, appreciate the support. I use google sheets. You just subtract all if the expenses from the potential card sale, expenses like card cost, eBay fees, shipping label, etc. The eBay fees is the hardest part because they change and there’s different ones. Very close to monetizing the channel so hoping to offer membership tiers and would like to offer some of these templates for different tiers. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing how can I sell on eBay? I need tips from you. How do I set up my eBay to accept payment from buyers? How do I ship etc etc I’d appreciate your assistance.
Hi there. Thanks for the question. I don't have a full video on how to create an ebay store but it's very easy. You just go to ebay and create an account and start listing a few items. You don't need to have a paid ebay subscription if you're just starting out.
@@CardZooSportsCards I have a eBay account I just need to figure out how to hook up my account to my bank account so I can start receiving payments any suggestions? I want to make sure the $ goes to my account and not somewhere else 😂 and then figure out the shipping process of cards

Awesome video, any appetite to share your pricing calculator or do a breakout of how you have it set up?

Great video. Appreciated the update.
Thanks, appreciate the view and comment!
All makes sense. Caveat is the market for sports cards can fluctuate drastically. You can do everything right and not profit if the market dips.
Exactly. Also part of why you have to be in it longer term. Thanks for the comment.
I love your videos and advice. How did you set up your calculator to determine how much you sell your cards for?
