Glad to see it solved your heating issues. Bummer about fitment. Fun fact, my C20 came with a Griffin radiator in it and I knew nothing about them until I watched this video. Thanks man!

Yea it’s bit irritating but it’s running cool so Iam happy. I wouldn’t turn down a care package from cold case though.. hahaha.
I’ve used Griffin and northern rads before, good stuff. That’s a good bonus that your truck came with one.

@@LeftForDeadGarage I reached out to them about a radiator for one of my projects once. They said sure we help out cut you a deal on them what do you need. I told them and never heard anything back so I guess they're not interested. Might not be interested in you now either since it was a little bit rough for them. 🤣

Hey LFD. That's a good-looking rad. $400.00 is about standard for a rad. I guess you could sand it down and paint it black if you wanted. Thanks for sharing.🍁👍👍

I don’t mind the cost of a quality piece, especially a very important piece to the puzzle but the fitment didn’t match the cost.

LFD, Thank you for posting your install and review. I just dropped $500 for a Cold Case for my truck. I agree that it should have fit better but I also think that is was cool that CCR reached out to your channel about it. Makes me feel better about my purchase! Also, I don't care for the shine either, Lol.

They did reach out but that’s about as far as it went. I emailed pictures to the tech guy his suggestions were exactly what it says not to do on the warranty lol. Thanks for watching!!

Great video as always, and bright shiny and new, when there should be something on it. (grease, rust, something!)Thanks for sharing.

I thought about looking into having it anodized black, but it’s already installed and Iam driving it lol. Thanks for watching Roy.

My Father owned my first 64 Catalina. He gave it to me for my 16th birthday.
      Wisconsin winters destroyed her.
I bought this Catalina few years ago from South Carolina.
Since I have drove it a couple thousand miles unrestored.
I have slowly replaced almost all the damaged parts with Nos Parts.
Replaced weatherstripping and replaced the Gas tank.
Completely rewired the car from headlights to taillights.

My fan sensors don’t seem to be accurate, I might try putting it in the head instead of the intake, great video buddy 👊🏼👍🤙🏻 sounds great 👍

Glad it's cooling better. I had cooling issues also. During the summer I was getting 220/230 degrees. I removed the stock 4 blade fan and put in a clutch fan. Also installed a 7 blade fan and made a fan shroud. So far it stays at 190. Thinking of going with a 160 thermostat. We'll see what happens this summer and 110 temperatures. I could definitely see you were Not a happy camper.

At the time that was the only “quality” direct fit radiator I could find. The back order issues in the hotrod world seems to never end. I did talk to cold case and i was told to cut it but they didn’t directly tell me to do that. Warranty does state any modifications will void it. So I guess I’ll void the warranty video.
