I have a question regarding emotional abuse in the form of repeated infidelity and lying to the point I had to show physical evidence that I knew the affair was still ongoing. This is in light of her promise that she was ending it and would start working with me to reconnect and attend counseling. My counselor asked me if I had ever been emotionally abused and I didn’t think I had been until he clarified that I had been. Would that be considered emotional abuse?
The abuse was so real.
He would lie to people and expect me to go along with it- I didn’t. I won’t.

@@johnsonjj117 I think continual lying and gaslighting around an issue like that could be considered emotionally abusive on some level
