Okay but youre forgetting one massive piece of information, The Black ops 4 zombies ending is what reset the multiverse and created this new one unified timeline.
And that it created a new universe where even other games universes co exist with the call of duty story, characters, and lore. Even assassins and templars are part of the history of this alternate universe.

The canon ending is when Menendez is killed by David Mason in Judgement Day mission, in the BO3 terminal it's confirmed and also confirmed by Treyarch back then.
I would’ve made David killing Menendez with the numbers program. Similar to how his father was tested on. But it’s a coding safe word for being martyred over imprisonment.
The most important detail about Black Ops declassified is that in the last mission, they go after Jose Menéndez (Raul’s father and leader of the Menéndez cartel at the time). And Raul actually saw the murder of his father. Giving him another reason to hate the US.
@@jonsolo410 The map Cartel. There is a dead body in the Menedez house. The map also takes place the day Menedez's dad is assassinated so it's highly likely everything fits together.
Technically the flashpoint mission takes place before the events of Modern Warfare 2019, on April 6th. The first mission of MW 2019, Fog of War takes place on October 24th, 2019. The invasion of Verdansk takes place on March 3rd, 2020.
You say that WWII isn't in the universe timeline but if i remember correctly in the Vanguard mission where you are with a segregated squad in the pacific one of the soldiers name is Howard, he also say that he got his brother fighting in Europe, and his brother is the one we see in the battle of the Bulge mission in WWII. That's what i remember but correct me if i'm wrong !
Yeah the opening cinematic also shows WW2 in it... kinda unacceptable for him to not include it, but to say it's not even a part of it... when it clearly is...
The thing I did not understand is how the military advancement of mw3 evolve to military advancement of bo2 just in 2 years, seems unrealistic. That the reason I think that bo is related to OG mw
Like l said! WaW(2008), BO(2010), BO2(2012), and BO3(2015) never happen because sience cod:mw2019 all of cod series after that become connected to each other.
That’s my one issue with black ops 2 being entirely canon. The story is amazing, it really is, but the futuristic tech in 2025 is too big of a plot hole to ignore. Maybe if they want it to be canon, they could make a BO2 remake, and change the high tech aesthetic to fit the shared universe? That’s super unlikely but that’s the only way I could see them making it fit, it’s either that or retcon it.
This video is amazing. Well put together. I know this timeline is campaign focused, but for fans of zombies, zombies is also canon. The Aether story from WaW to BO4 happens and the light at the end of Tag Der Toten is this timeline in the video alongside The Dark Aether story in CW, Vanguard, and MWIII.
Love how well put together this video is, really hope you'll update it with WWII and the rest of black ops 6 when all of that game's content has come out
your videos are just perfect on god I love them I’ve just walked like 10 miles and sitting down and watching this is so refreshing hope your doing great👆🏽
On one of the posters for Infinite Warfare, one fan found interesting information - that the ship SWC-141 is named after Task Force 141, which saved President Boris Vorshevsky. That's what it says right there. But it turns out that in this case, Infinite Warfare is related to the original Modern Warfare trilogy, and not its relaunch.
One of the best cods ever made. Campaign, multiplayer and zombies all solid. Literally nothing bad to say about that game. I hope for a remaster in the future🙏🏼
damn good video man, sheesh would love to see more of em, man been following you for years and years now, your legacy will continue and just like you im a huge fan of COD since very long. so cheers to that.

This mission is canon in the universe as Kamarov mentions it in the Spec Ops opening. Also for the future BO storyline I’m pretty sure that Treyarch mention that some or all of those events aren’t canon no more.
Never played any of the games myself but my boyfriend loves them; so thank you for making this video and others; to help me understand the lore for him
Where’s cod ww2 I get that nothing really important happens story wise in that game but it’s still apart of the cod cinematic universe which I think vanguard slightly hints at

You forgot to mention the fact that the entire reboot timeline exists because of the ending of bo4 zombies which causes the multiverse to be destroyed and turned into 1 connected universe. This makes every new zombies mode cannon too as a result.
I'm convinced the Modern Warfare reboot and Infinite Warfare are in the same timeline as theres a SDF captain named Barkov whose possible desendant of the General Roman Barkov from Modern Warfare 2019.
More campaign storylines. Also I really want sequals to ghost, advanced and infinite warfare if they are having trouble with the modern warfare plot then give it a rest and go back to these games. They better not mess up COD 24 otherwise the ones who made the last 2 games need to be put on hold and the series has to be given to a developer who understands the series and listens to the fans who like the campaign and zombie modes more then the multiplayer.
There’s also a Black Ops game that takes place in 2030 five years after Black Ops 2 and I hope to see a Modern Warfare 4 where we get to kill Makarov once and for all.
Infinite Warfare is tied to the original Modern Warfare Timeline on the captains terminal on your ship as it references the war between the US and Russia and how it unified most nations due to the destruction it left.
If I’m not mistaken a character from WW2 appears in Vanguard which connects WW2 to this whole universe Edit: it seems that AW, IW, and WW2 are 100% apart of this universe, it’s impossible for Ghosts to be apart of it unless they reboot it and but it further in the future like the early 22nd century, cod 1-3 could possibly be canon to this universe but it most likely isn’t canon(though the events/characters still happened/exist, just as all gilled up is still canon and happened we just haven’t seen it yet
Fun fact the ENTIRE zombies “Aether” storyline from WAW to the end in BO4 is canon and happens before all of this and the multiverse resets into this current connected universe!
WWII is connected thanks to one piece of dialogue from Lewis howard in vanguard confirming that Major Howard who we see in WWII is his brother
Almost forgot about that bit
That's what I'm saying, ww2 is still canon especially since butcher returns from ww2 and became a main character in the vanguard story
Just bc there is a familiar name doesn’t mean it’s connected everything after bo4s last zombies dlc is all the new universe
@@LILROB0 Butcher was in WWII's HQ

That is the most logic reaction by David Mason, I agree.
I would’ve made David killing Menendez with the numbers program. Similar to how his father was tested on. But it’s a coding safe word for being martyred over imprisonment.
Treyarch literally said that the bad ending was canon before Bo3 released. So yes Menendez did die and the world went to shit after that.
is there a confirmed ending regarding whether mason was shot by woods or not?
The most important detail about Black Ops declassified is that in the last mission, they go after Jose Menéndez (Raul’s father and leader of the Menéndez cartel at the time). And Raul actually saw the murder of his father. Giving him another reason to hate the US.
