I'm saddened to not see a single word on Infinite Warfare's campaign. The multiplayer was abysmal but I actually really really enjoyed the campaign, and have never heard of anyone else liking it as much as I did.
The campaign wasn't great, but it was way better than it had any right to be. If it had gotten a little more focus, maybe leaning more into actually commanding the Retribution or at least doing something with it as a hub area, it could have been even more worth remembering.
I got exactly the same impression. It was the only COD i got since MW3, just because none of the games between had something that seemed interesting to me, i am a campaign-player and i had heard pretty bad things about the the Infinite Warfare Multiplayer but NOTHING about the campaign, so..... when i had the opportunity to get the game for 20 Euros i thought: why not look again into what they have done there.... and it´s just GREAT. Please: Make another Campaign in the setting, that campaign had (in my eyes) Modern Warfare-Potential... but they dumped it because they fu**ed up the multiplayer. I just LOVE the singleplayer experience of Infinite Warfare, that was just the right approach to the sci-fi era. What i saw from Advanced Warfare looked like: Great ideas, but they were pourly implemented before it was released. But Infinite Warfare proved again that the future can be a great setting for a story-based-shooter if it´s done right. And they did..... Yeah, it´s not on the Level of e.g. a Mass Effect, but it doesn´t had to. COD´s are Story-Shooters, not RPG-Shooters, so: No need for overly complex or numerous sidemissions and a complex conversation system. It´s just: Walk threw the amazing scenery and get the feeeling of commanding that nice carrier and look around what this well thought out world has to offer you...... and then walk further and let some hell loose on the enemy. What should i want more from a COD? And something i have to say that´s not connected with Infinite Warfare: I would love to see some of the special actions from Modern Warfare 1 again, the ones from the campaign that you unlock with that intel: Hell yeah: splitting granade: Yeah it´s op, but two things: First, they can kill you too pretty easy if you use them without thinking about where the "bonus" granades will land and 2nd: It´s the campaing, so: Who cares?? If you don´t like it, just don´t activate them. I just love things like that for a single-player game.
Honestly, it's probably one of my favorites, but I'm a movement shooter kind of guy and can't wait for cod to get back to the BO3/infinite warfare days. (Unless titanfall 2 gets revived, Northstar is great for PC, but It would be so much better with official servers)
I spent soooo long playing cod 2 with my friends on xbox. I remember when I didn't even have wifi but they'd come over (crica 2007-2008/9) just play against each other and be sneaky/explore the maps.
I've actually only played MW3, Black Ops 2, and Warzone gotta admit :x I used to play Battlefield as a young teenager cuz that's what I kinda grew up with instead of CoD :I I missed out on all the action and the feeling when Shepherd betrayed you, I ain't never gonna get that special feeling when you experience it for the first time ever when you play that's kinda sad ngl :x

The entire call of duty series and franchise is so Nostalgic the memories we made along the way the friendships we all made along the way and we all thank the entire call of duty franchise for being there Throughout mine and everyone else’s childhood
i remember when i was little my dad would play cod and brush my hair while i was on his lap watching him play. he even taught me a little bit. really good memories, a little different then what ur talking ab but still nostalgic to me in a way.
As someone who grew up not being able to play call of duty, this video makes me wish I had the nostalgia that most people have for these games. When I did get the odd chance to play it, it seemed way more fun that it does today. Nothing compares to playing call of duty for the first time.
This is such a euphoric feeling watching this, the memories of all of my mates and i playing till 1am on school nights and till the sun rose on the weekends, leaving school early on Friday in 2011 to pick up the MW3 have come rushing back to me, really was an incredible time.
I remember picking up BO1 on a Tuesday after school in 2010. Ridiculous how long ago that is. Didn’t realize how special those times were as it was happening but I’m sure glad I have the memories.
I was 6 to 8 years old when I played Call of Duty 3. God, I had good memories there, couldn't finish the game because of that struggling mechanic that killed me so many times. But I had fun. I played it on Wii so I am pro gamer
Till this day, my favorite MP of the series is CoD 3. Also, it had many things with Battlefield in common, it played way different. In CoD 5 they brought vehicles back, but it wasn't as fun.
As a stinky young boy who didn't have any COD games other than advanced warfare, hearing the advanced warfare ambient music come in at 23:53 was hella nostalgic

Honestly WW2 was one of my favourite Call Of Duties. I don’t mind the weird lobby and all that the actual gameplay was good and the war game mode was the best.

I'm saddened to not see a single word on Infinite Warfare's campaign. The multiplayer was abysmal but I actually really really enjoyed the campaign, and have never heard of anyone else liking it as much as I did.

The campaign wasn't great, but it was way better than it had any right to be. If it had gotten a little more focus, maybe leaning more into actually commanding the Retribution or at least doing something with it as a hub area, it could have been even more worth remembering.

I got exactly the same impression. It was the only COD i got since MW3, just because none of the games between had something that seemed interesting to me, i am a campaign-player and i had heard pretty bad things about the the Infinite Warfare Multiplayer but NOTHING about the campaign, so..... when i had the opportunity to get the game for 20 Euros i thought: why not look again into what they have done there.... and it´s just GREAT. Please: Make another Campaign in the setting, that campaign had (in my eyes) Modern Warfare-Potential... but they dumped it because they fu**ed up the multiplayer. I just LOVE the singleplayer experience of Infinite Warfare, that was just the right approach to the sci-fi era. What i saw from Advanced Warfare looked like: Great ideas, but they were pourly implemented before it was released. But Infinite Warfare proved again that the future can be a great setting for a story-based-shooter if it´s done right. And they did..... Yeah, it´s not on the Level of e.g. a Mass Effect, but it doesn´t had to. COD´s are Story-Shooters, not RPG-Shooters, so: No need for overly complex or numerous sidemissions and a complex conversation system. It´s just: Walk threw the amazing scenery and get the feeeling of commanding that nice carrier and look around what this well thought out world has to offer you...... and then walk further and let some hell loose on the enemy. What should i want more from a COD?
And something i have to say that´s not connected with Infinite Warfare: I would love to see some of the special actions from Modern Warfare 1 again, the ones from the campaign that you unlock with that intel: Hell yeah: splitting granade: Yeah it´s op, but two things: First, they can kill you too pretty easy if you use them without thinking about where the "bonus" granades will land and 2nd: It´s the campaing, so: Who cares?? If you don´t like it, just don´t activate them. I just love things like that for a single-player game.
Honestly, it's probably one of my favorites, but I'm a movement shooter kind of guy and can't wait for cod to get back to the BO3/infinite warfare days. (Unless titanfall 2 gets revived, Northstar is great for PC, but It would be so much better with official servers)
I spent soooo long playing cod 2 with my friends on xbox. I remember when I didn't even have wifi but they'd come over (crica 2007-2008/9) just play against each other and be sneaky/explore the maps.

i remember when i was little my dad would play cod and brush my hair while i was on his lap watching him play. he even taught me a little bit. really good memories, a little different then what ur talking ab but still nostalgic to me in a way.

As someone who grew up not being able to play call of duty, this video makes me wish I had the nostalgia that most people have for these games. When I did get the odd chance to play it, it seemed way more fun that it does today. Nothing compares to playing call of duty for the first time.

This is such a euphoric feeling watching this, the memories of all of my mates and i playing till 1am on school nights and till the sun rose on the weekends, leaving school early on Friday in 2011 to pick up the MW3 have come rushing back to me, really was an incredible time.
I remember picking up BO1 on a Tuesday after school in 2010. Ridiculous how long ago that is. Didn’t realize how special those times were as it was happening but I’m sure glad I have the memories.

Till this day, my favorite MP of the series is CoD 3. Also, it had many things with Battlefield in common, it played way different. In CoD 5 they brought vehicles back, but it wasn't as fun.
