Damn, that BO2 theme music is so good. These games used to have hella good music that really added weight to the emotional moments. The ending to BO2 just wouldn't hit the same without that track.
For BO3, long story short: BO3 mission 1 is in real life and takes place before the last mission and after BO3 comics. And then the player is in coma state where the virus Corvus shows up during medical procedures and you are experiencing events of Taylor's memories as if you are Taylor. Meanwhile Corvus wants to knows his purpose by travelling with those memories. Everything is in the comics (real life story which takes place before mission 1) where each character plays the other characters in the player's head and that's it. Taylor being Dylan Stone etc etc. Hendricks killed Dylan stone in real life and then separated with Taylor. That's why Hendrick asked Taylor about Rachel and it has been a long time they didn't see each others. And for the last mission, you took Taylor's body in Real Life cuz Corvus is a glitch and things got merge because during player's medical procedure, Taylor touched you ( you can see a flash about that in a train mission ). The last mission is a Real Life mission and Hendricks is infected by Corvus during his surgery, woke up and provoked a disaster in a city and you need to stop him. You are in Taylor's body during the whole mission. Then you go to the simulation (Frozen Forest) where you need to fight this virus alongside Taylor's soul who is still active and when Corvus dies, you start to fade away an let Taylor's soul to return to his body back and you die and the end. Nightmares mode is between life and death, just like they showed us with Battery being in hospital trying to fight zombies.
Everything is well understood, thanks dude. But can you explain this... Player shot himself in the Life mission... how come he gets resurrected after destroying Frozen Forest immersion???
