I started working out about 2 months ago. I had no Idea what I was doing, so I watched a lot of videos and did a lot of research. One of the toughest things for me was figuring out the diet part. I always hear, "try and eat a healthy diet", or "have high protein, low calorie foods", or, “be in a caloric deficit”, but that didn’t really help much. What I liked about Magus' videos, is he has many nutrition videos where he goes over what his star clients actually ate, as well as videos showing what he actually eats during a day, snack recipes, etc. It allowed me to actual see what these diets consist of, what foods are being used, and it gave me ideas and a starting point for putting my own diet together. Magnus, thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Thanks for this video, Magnus!! Would love to see a video on how you combat plateaus? I'm at a spot where I'm maintaining my weight with proper nutrition and exercise, but what can I do to amp up the weight loss I was seeing earlier when I first started being healthier?

Honestly, the app is fantastic. The workouts are hard but anyone can still do them. The price point is affordable and you get a ton of value. I’m totally staying subscribed after my first month is up.

Avoid anything over head & legs opening (I’m serious) such as aductor machine. I worked out in first pregnancy but felt dizzy in second pregnancy so stuck to swimming only & no gym work.
Lots of walking but also rest.
      Good luck 😉

In my first pregnancy, I did not strain myself to exercise much, I preferred walking. I tried to do 30 minutes of pregnancy yoga (there is one on UA-cam by Lara Dutta) for 4 times a week. I had smooth pregnancy and an 8.1 lbs baby.
The second pregnancy was havoc because I had twins and they both weighed total over 15 lbs. (7.1 lbs each). So I preferred sitting and doing 2 pound dumbbell exercises along with 15 mins walk twice a day. I could sit down on floor until 8 months.
      It's your choice to exercise.

Watching this while eating my afternoon snack (Wasa crispbread w/canned albacore is awesome!) with my macros dialed in a-la-Tarzan on my cutting cycle. The Magnus Method ap is totally worth the cost! I was bored and hit a wall on my training, but have already seen better results with the ap and Magnus's advice. Best trainer on the web! Hey Magnus - question. It is very easy for me to build my legs, and I have zero body fat in my legs. I want to reduce my legs, particularly the thigh area. Currently, my thighs are 27 inches, and my calves 16. I'd like that number to reduce to 23/24 and 14 respectively, while not reducing the size of my glutes. How can I reduce the size of my legs without ignoring them altogether? I do all leg exercises with a very low weight or without weight at all. Barre, pilates, yoga, and walking, or do you have other ideas? You're a legend, thank you.

I really enjoy my fighting sport (JuJutsu) twice a week, but i really want to hit my body goals. I know the most important part is my nutrition, but i'm really struggling to combine gym an JuJutsu. Hope you can help.

Is it okay to train legs 2x in the same day? For example a lower body focused HIIT class over lunch and then a heavy session like 7/8 hours later? - then rest the legs for a couple days. :)
