I really like the content from Magnus. He's professional and his content make sense. He the first content creator in this area on YT that I find useful
This was amazing! People everywhere say you must sleep 8hrs. That in itself is a stressors when you wake up constantly after only sleeping 6hrs. So glad to hear its a myth. I am glad it's ok for some to sleep 6hrs while others do need 8 hrs. No matter what time I go to bed, I wake up after sleeping 6hrs. It's crazy because when I was younger I was a 8-10hrs kind of person.
I would experiment and see how many hours of sleep you need in order to feel fresh and productive for the day ahead. For me, it is 8 hours unless I did an intensive training session followed by a long day, then I'll probably need 9 hours.
Great video! I need to read that book. Sleep is such an important thing. Earlier I never paid attention to it, just focused on my diet and workout. Now, I completely agree, the quality of one’s work ( workout and other work) gets affected and goes downhill if they are sleep deprived. I personally feel more energetic and positive on days I sleep at least 7 hours. Thanks for sharing this awesome video!
ok so you should sleep as long as you need right? But when does deprivation start? Is it 1 h less or it must be significant. I don't see any pattern if I sleep my 8 h or 7, but if I went out last night and slept 5 h I wouldn't even consider working out. Is anyone there who exercises after sleeping significantly less than normal and WHY would you?!

Basically you are telling me that I should only sleep and never wake up 😂 I like that.
2:48 Something I've always wondered, why does my metabolism slow down when I don't get enough sleep. Now I have a better understanding. Thanks!

Great video Magnus, more to sleep than meets than you would think.
Thanks for the good video! A question though: How to know how many hours one needs to sleep?
