    First of all, I love your philosophy with 17 out of 20 meals to be healthy and on point. And you do tell everyone they should be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight. However you could make a video showing people how easily you could ruin your deficit with those 3 "eat whatever you want" meals. I say this simply for having been on a journey of my own, struggling to lose weight and not understanding calories for so long. Even further, someone could eat a very healthy meal, a salad for example with vegetables, olive oil, avocado and maybe some cheese that's very high in calories but they consider that meal to be 'one of the good ones'. And that's gonna be disastrous for someone trying to lose weight. I like calling that the "mental diet", when you feel you make a conscious effort to lose weight and the results simply don't come. In my opinion that will have a huge toll on a person's mindset and confidence, and consider themselves unlucky or being stuck in that "I can't lose weight whatever I do" head space.

      Good point. I feel like for people that eat like 5 meals a day and are on a small deficit those 3 bad meals can easily ruin the deficit. For a weight loss journey i feel like it’s just better to eat flexible so you dont have to feel like having 3 "bad meals".

    Fresh veggies have less nutritional value than frozen,because wen you pick up the vegetables they go to storage, transportation and destination,losing some of the nutrients in the process. Wen you pick up the frozen ones,they go directly to being frozen, so they keep their nutrients from the start.

    Lol, thanks for the honesty around alcohol! I noticed when I got my nutrition and workouts on point my body naturally self-corrected with alcohol and I have like 3 drinks a month, whereas before I was having two drinks a day most days.

    Hi Magnus! I was wondering why models still train with light weight rather than heavy weight to grow their glutes? Nowadays it’s great to see women encourage other women to lift heavy in the gym saying you won’t get bulky etc, but the Instagram models I follow still all do lighter weights… so I was just wondering why that is!

    I really like this kind of videos, and your idea 17 out of 20 is something I can try! Trying to keep my weight, after lost 9 kg that I wanted - I keep losing weight something I didnt plan. At 51 years ,for me it is important with "health" -not being skinny.

    My heaviest was 130+kgs then I manage to cut it down to 70kgs but I did it all wrong. I went back from 97kgs last year and manage to cut down to 91 then plateaued on that. Not until recently I started eating clean and doing some push ups and sometimes jogging I manage to go down by 83kgs as of now. I also started doing dumbell exercise recently and incorporated protein in my diet (whey) but I have a belly fat (pooch) and it wont go away. My body fat percentage is around 20% I'm 5'9 83kgs and I still need to lose around 6kgs to achieve my ideal BMI. I'm planning to go in the gym next month. What should I do to lose my pooch? Should I continue with what I'm doing (cutting ) or have a calorie surplus?

    • @LukeMackie
      @LukeMackie 3 роки тому +3

      You should really stay away from breads, they're not healthy and full of additives like sugars. BUT, if you really need to eat bread then go for wholegrain, preferably Ezekiel bread

    • @petrecismigiu2813
      @petrecismigiu2813 3 роки тому +2

      @@LukeMackie ... with all due respect, that's simply not true. Bread is not bad at all. I've been eating french toast for 2 years every single day(made by myself, with protein powder and eggwhites, no oil) and it keeps me full and satiated at a low calorie cost. Go for the lowest calorie bread and you will be just fine. Stop spreading misinformation for someone who especially seeks knowledge. If you keep track of your calories, know exactly what you're eating, you will reach your goals. I'm a personal trainer and nutritionist if that makes any difference for anyone reading this.

      @@petrecismigiu2813 yeah I think your right I know the mass produced crap ain't great because of all the stuff they put in it but chose wisely you can find good stuff or make it yourself

    • @LukeMackie
      @LukeMackie 3 роки тому +2

      @@petrecismigiu2813 It all comes down to how healthy of a diet you have, on a whole food diet bread is a no go. That's the diet I follow personally and I'm very strict on what I eat, but hey, if that works for you then go for it. You say you're making your own which is great, but I was referring to store bought breads with unwanted additives. I'm also looking to go down the nutritionist path myself, so I appreciate the input.
