1962 was a very good year! I was one of those very fortunate kids in the late 60's early 70's was given a mini bike by my dad. I was the only kid on the street who had one. Used to ride it up the back alleys behind my house. Many good memories. It was a Keystone Mini bike and I think my parents bought it from Sears. I think I bugged my parents for a couple of years before I got it. Thanks for the memories!

After shaving port/polish the head, jetting carb,header pipe and advanced the timing. Feels like I’ve doubled the power and sounds great. I believe it ran 34mph w 12t frt and 75t back ! It’s important to get those aerodynamic adjustments correct. I pulled what seemed like 8 pounds of stickers off my Coleman. I swear it uses less gas now.

Well I did it....I bought a Rascal Lite Mini Bike kit! Your video(s) inspired me to give it a go! Once I get it up and running with the gas engine, I'm seriously considering converting it to an electric mini bike😊

Hi I have a question. On that rear brake set up. Did u put lock washers between the caliper and the bracket? Or did u just bolt the caliper straight to the bracket? Thanks

Pretty sure I’ve got the same sprocket which makes it hard to lean into turns without grounding out. Any recommendations regarding a different sprocket, gearing and clutch combo’s? Thanks
Yes, a predator will go on there no problem. They have tank mounts to mount the tank on the top frame rails . It is a nice beefy frame. They have a lot of options for this frame.
Very informative. Mine is being shipped as I comment. I would like to put a simple rattle can paint job on it as well. The caliper paint brand you used is quite clear from the video but the primer a little less so. I see it is also VHT. Is it Engine Enamel Primer? And how did the combo work out? Thanks in advance!

They sell a clearcoat. I think it’s called times two you’ll know it’s the right can because it Hass to have a button on the bottom of the can when you pop that button it releases the Hardner that’s the best that stuff is car clear it is by far the best. Regular clear always stay soft.
What kind of screws did you use for the seat? Does it come with some? I just placed my order on this bike so I’ll be putting it together in about a week lol

The frame would handle it with no problem. The engine might be a little slow taking off but would probably pull you. You could mod the engine or always throw a Tillotson or Predator on it later on.

I’ve built both 99 and 79cc up to stage 2s with porting and milling. Great engines. Super reliable and can scream high rpm’s with stock internals.

Mine is almost done but I can’t get the chain ran. I can’t get the chain pin out to connect chain and re insert pin then master link.
My kit is missing the spacers for the rear tire. Can you send me the dimesions so I can go try to find them.
