I'm honestly shocked you guys waited until the day before to build your bike. Next year, you should make a series leading up to it starting a few months ahead of time, complete with stress testing and reliability mods, competing against each other for the best track time so you all get practice on it. You guys should have one of the best bikes out there. Then continue to refine the design for the next year, or start from scratch. And maybe even do some mods so you don't get beat up so bad. I feel bad for Ike! I've been watching you guys since almost the beginning, and I can say the biggest thing I'd love to see you guys is building something in preparation for an event.
That's just the way so many people are. We'd go riding for a weekend or a couple week vacation, and most of the people would have something that needed to be fixed before they could ride, or something would fail because they had ignored a problem. I can say this because I was the guy who's stuff was always ready, and got pulled into fixing their stuff when we got there!

I watched Red Beards report of the race and he described the chain issue perfectly. A design flaw in the rear suspension causes the chain tension to change as the trailing arm goes up and down. Nice finish guys!
Great run Ike 👍 and you didn’t break it 😂
holy shit ike is really good at racing. His overtakes are nuts.
Wow guys, this was a blast!!
47th to 5th...id say yall did a hella job! Sux about that belt tho. Kill it next year!!
Due respect to ike's fitness 👏
Next year , share the riding John , that looked tough
Nice one guys hopefully next time 👍😁
great job guys i can see that was a ruff track forsure
i only live about 30 minutes from the race but i saw my shadow when i stepped outside, lol
You guys did great and should feel proud. You build a bike without testing and raced it and came top five! With very competitive group of guys! That’s a win win win in my book.

That looked totally bad ass! That bike got balls that's for sure👍
Top 5! Well done brother.
Awesome job guys!!!!! Love watching!!!
5th is real good considering the breakdowns you guys had.....enduro races are self cleaning so to speak. Foot Pegs , Chain guide/tensioners and the seat need major improvements on the trailmaster if you plan on doing long races. Looking forward to next years race - see ya there

Some ideas for your next build... 1: loctite on the carb extension clamp screws 2: a tensioner pulley on the chain 3: heavy duty torque converter belt. 😉
Reminds me of the old footage of Barstow to Vegas races. Good job on just finishing. Safety wire locktite and balls.
