- Roy van de Donk IV dan International Instructor (ITF-Nederland) Een korte snelle dynamische warming-up zonder pauzes van 4 a 5 oefeningen met daarop meteen statische rekoefeningen van max. 6 a 8 sec links als rechts daarna maximaal uitrekken... Deze methode is NIET geschikt voor beginners en of onervaren atleten dit is enkel een resultaat van jarenlange training en geen gebruikelijke trainingsmethode...( dit is het eerste filmpje die ik op youtube zet )
First off all I would like to say to everybody :I'm sorry for my late reaction, taekwon-do meant a lot to me I spent over 27 years of training at least 10 to 15 hours a week this video was made in 2012 I was 40 years old in 2013 I was diagnosed with FAI femoral asetabulum impingement. I was hoping for a hip-arthroscopic surgery but in 2014 they told me that I need a hip replacement, and my world fell apart and I lost all the control of my life . I refuse a total hip replacement because of the high risk of dislocation and the hip resurfacing BHR is not allowed in Holland of course the international recall in 2008..(!)
At this moment I live with horrible pain my legs can not higher than 50 cm at the moment, walking stairs hurts bicycling hurts. But the most pain is the frustration, I became very depressed and I had therapy for it. I survived my depression ; at this moment I'm still fighting, because there is a solution... But it's gonna a lot of time.. I'm getting stronger every day. And I promise you all I will return and I will show you all things that you have never seen before..

bedankt dat u erbij zet dat het niet voor de beginners geschikt is want ik wou het bijna proberen ik stond al op van mijn stoel om te proberen. ik woon in Den Haag en doe ook aan taekwondo maar ik wil heeel graag zo lenig worden als u
Lenigheid is heel leuk maar echt niet nodig om een goede Taekwondo beoefenaar te zijn of worden. Ik heb 27 jaar ITF Taekwon-do beoefend en de laatste 20 jaar bijna elke dag aan stretching deze oefeningen die je ziet deed ik elke les voor de trainingen begonnen, dit is leuk voor een paar jaar toen ik 41 was moest ik stoppen met dit soort trainingen toen ik 44 was liep ik zwaar kreupel en had 24 uur per dag extreem veel pijn. Dit filmpje is bij vele erg populair maar ik waarschuw altijd dat dit extreem is en niet echt nodig. 7 dagen geleden heb ik rechts eindelijk een heupprothese gekregen, binnen een paar jaar hoop ik ook links het te kunnen krijgen. Ook mijn linker schouder heeft behoorlijk veel schade maar daar kan ik nog alles mee..
Zo zie je maar.. Doe voorzichtig en blijf gezond 🙏 🌹

lova lovo yes but I could take up to a year just do this daily it could happen in 6 months minimum

If you can persevere through the pain it'll take a month and then the common pain will go away and it won't bother you as much and you'll actually feel more free and move easier.

Keep at it. You have to stretch everyday and don't get mad at yourself if progress is slow. Even just half an inch further in your stretching every few days is an improvement over what you did before. If you are consistent, those small gains add up over time to equal big results.

But how about partner stretching for
Stand up against wall facing forward, partner tests your calf on his shoulder arises it until partner says wo. Same for other side, which a class does this.
Then sitting in front each other one puts their feet inside the others ankles, legs spread wide, the grab hands, one leans as far back as possible or all the way, then it's reversed so the other leans back pulling the friend forward.
I mean this was great, but for others we would need sissify it, 😉
