    You can still do taekwondoe it's just your body isn't used to those positions. Trust me, you will get better at it as you train yourself to do these stretches.

      Same it’s been 4 years since I left taekwondo, pretty sure my friends are black belts now in my home country. My rank was blue belt at that time before I left to Canada. I missed those days and I’m going to do a taekwondo workout this year in the last day of school because, y’know, projects and final tests and all.

    Wow, that brought back memories of when I took Ti Kwon Do lessons a a teen ! (I am 62 now) and I did these exercises to the Tee ! No pain, no gain attitude ! And after a short while, I could do a split ! And I kicked higher, and better than anyone in the class ! 90° side kicks ! Follow this routine faithfully, and you will be amazed !!! 😁👍

    time to work it people I am 60 years old I've been doing karate and Taekwondo for about 3 years and it did take a while but I can do the split stretch and touch my nose to the ground at times takes a while but you can work it

    for people who think that it is fart at 2:11 I don't think so I think it was the sound the pants scratching through the ground when doing the splits.

    These are what I used to do when I used to do tae kwon do now I do it to stay fit so wanted to brush up on the exercises. I was never that limber but watching him touch his head to his knees gave me the heebie jeebies that's gotta hurt. Especially when he was laying doing the split. Ouch. They are very stretchy!

    I'm 13 and currently interesting in learning tae kwon do, i might try joining tae kwon do classes on summer but i'm trying to learn on my own for now, and lemme tell you. I'm not flexible 😂 i can't even do any of these correctly but i'll try i guess

      Train hard and go berserk on your bully, no mercy.
      He won't be ready for it. You will win if you go all out. You have to go from 0 to 100 instantly when you decide to attack or to defend yourself.

      I'm also gonna attend tkwd to intimidate them. I'm not gonna attack though. Only if they attack first since in my country you have to sign a contract that if you use your strength anywhere outside training or tournaments, you'll be thrown out.

    I guess I really need to get into like stretching and yoga because my body is really stiff and my back isn’t really straight. Does anybody have suggestions what should I do as a beginner?

      You just keep it up. Go as far as your body allows you to right before it hurts and hold it there for a few deep breaths when your more relaxed feeling on an exhale stretch deeper just a little and hold that for some time. After some weeks you'll be able to go further and further. Be patient and consistant

    Ik how to do it when im doing taekwondo when its not quarantined so like its been weeks and a month on quarantine today and i literally forgot how to do the stretchings on taekwondo and btw thanks my black belt is now relaxing on quarantine of getting used on taekwondo tournaments 😂

    So basicly i left doing karate(shotokan/kyokushin black belt) for about 6 years and i wanted to do return back to it but i can baraly get past my knees(used to do knuckle standing holds for hamstings) and i thou teakwondo is usualy more strechy then us karate kas and here i am i hope this gona help me with my kicks

    Hi and gane. This sport called Taekwondo, but it has got lots of different
    clothing and different forms with different movements. About 22 years
    ago my teacher gave me yellow belt and then I left that country and he
    told me that the clothing for our school is black V neck and white top
    and bottom, while belts are in different colour and our system is called
    poomsae only (poomsae). I want to restart, but I am confused which one
    to use as to be accordingly to my yellow belt as there are lots of
    usfule lessons on youtube. Thanks.

      hi I'm paual mom Taekwondo is mostly leg based, but your teacher will teach you different punching techniques as well. In tournaments when you spar with an opponent different types of kicks are more expected of you than punches.

      AtanasovPetar, Our Coach said in school that our weight must be the same as our height :/ I dont know why but maybe it can help. Maybe try loosing some weight and try to measure it. Check your height too :) Hope it Helped!

      fush thediamont is right, you know? I don't know your measuring types, but for example if you are 1.70m you should weight 70kg, or 69kg if you want to look even better, but not below 68kg. It's what I heard, so don't push your negative comments on me, okay? I am 1.73m and i weight 72kg and I feel great and I also look normal, not fat nor skinny.
