Appreciate the time you took for a thorough review. Knowledgeable about the product and show a realistic, practical demo for what we can expect in our own home. Hard to find trustable reviews these days because it seems most of the products reviewed by popular channels always seem to show obvious bias and only show how these machines do it right without showing the shortcomings. Genuinely enjoyed this. Look forward to more of your testing.
Thanks for a very nicely done and honest review, it was very helpful. I do have a recommendation for tiled floors. Years ago a floor guy told me to never use cleaning products on a tile floor. He said the cleaning product always leaves a residue behind which attracts and holds on to dirt. He told me to only use water. I use water and vinegar with traditional mopping, but would never add that to the Hoover Floormate Deluxe tank. The vinegar will damage the Floormate. DO NOT USE VINEGAR WATER WITH THE HOOVER FLOORMATE or any other hard floor/carpet vacuum!!! Thanks again, job well done!
Wow, that was an awesome review! So thorough! A real, live person showing us how to use the machine and how it performs on various floors, plus your insights as a user. This is the kind of thing I look for when I'm trying to decide which product to buy! P.s. I'm going to buy this cleaner. P.P.S. love your black-and-gold tie dye!
I been using this product for years. Great success on all my floors when I made several( 4-5 times over each area each way) slow passes with scrubbing in both directions then vacuum up water . Use a good cleaning product.
Thanks for your review. I purchased it for my textured pool deck with its tile floor grout advertising. I have been pressure washing, which makes a big mess. It cleans flat surfaces well. The scrubbing brushes retract to easily to not allow a deeper scrub. The spring action and plastic gears keep it from digging in. Even adding additional spray cleaner directly to the floor did not help. Pre-scrubbing with the a stick brush did a better job. My need would be a commercial scrubber.
Thanks for sharing your experiences with it too. I agree with your points. I just did all the bricks in my house last week. Getting the grout clean is a major pain. This time I used a rotary brush I bought on line for deep cleaning the grout and also pre scrubbed with a stick brush. Then multiple passes with the Hoover. Since my floor is brick I used extra water to help rinse. A lot of work, but they shine now. I think all of the non-commercial scrubbers are going to have some issues.
Thank you for your demonstration. I'd love to know details about your bathroom tile floor manufacturer name brand and color and also color of your cabinetry and walls. In love with the colors !!! Great job !!!
Thank you for yaking rhe time to di a thorough review. You shared the exact information i needed. I have 5 large dogs and my house is all tile. My tile also has a texture to it, so the dirt really gets in the texture lines and grout lines. Ive been looking for a commercial option that has has scrub brushes but also a wet vac and have been having a hard time. Many floor scrubbers work with long vac hoses attached to a van. Definitely better all in one options with stronger scrubbing power need to be made. Let me know if you have found a better option since this review. Thank you
Your experience sounds exactly like mine. Four Bassett Hounds got me on this journey lol. I looked at commercial systems too but couldn’t find a small system at a decent cost. I bought two “his and hers” units you see in the video. We also use the spin brush. These are ok and are better than hand scrubbing, but the challenge is still the grout. If I find something else that’s better I will post it. Thanks.
I saw a 2-minute video put out by the manufacturer it showed using the machine to vacuum the floors first. Then they dumped out the dirt from the dry vacuuming before they started. I saw another video put out by somebody called how to clean like a pro, he is a professional floor cleaner. He was reviewing this machine he said it doesn't work on grout. I would guess that brick is the hardest floor to clean because it is so porous.
The machine cleans well, but is hard to clean and the motor gets wet after months of use. It progressively gets louder to the that is unbearable. The plug in crosswave is much better in my experience.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the cleaner. I haven't seen the same issues yet, but will keep an eye out to see if it happens to my units too.
eh, no biggie! So you clean the sink after, just the same as you clean the sink after putting in dishes and stuff contaminated with raw meat juices. (Besides, he said he normally dumps the dirty water outside. Me, I dump the dirty water down the toilet.)

I did all the changes about 3 years ago. I will see if I can find the details for you.

Can this also be used on rugs and carpets?
I don’t think so.
Does this vacuum at the same time or is it just to wash the floor, like mop it.
The vacuum is just to remove the water from the floor. Its not used as a regular vacuum.
Avalabl in Pakistan
I don’t know.

It works well on the brick. Especially if the brick is sealed. Grout lines are the challenge.

dirty water into the sink😥😥

These floors are already clean! BS!
I have four hounds. They are never clean lol.
