How did you find my channel? Let me know :))
I personally think that you post a lot of videos (because you are doing A levels rn). I think maybe one thing to improve is that you can make shorter videos (3-5 minutes). that attracts more attention. But for the rest i think your channel is really good and informative.
A UA-camrs called Nouman Sami gave you a shoutout…
I was about to stress out but the second i found your vid my mind came to peace and I know how to tackle my problems for GCSEs now. Thanks Revishaan
I found it from a tutorial I believe
Was scrolling though and found it
i think exam boards should release sample papers according to their exam advance info as new spec + exam advance info leaves me with barely any past papers to do unless i do bits of each paper
edit: btw thanks for the wake up call
i think cambridge does release specimen papers everytime there's a change in syllabus or exam format. i'm not sure about pearson or edexcel, etc. i'm doing cambridge igcse, and i have seen and done specimen papers on multiple occassions. also, IGCSE (and GCSE) requires you to have a good understanding of the topics, rather than memorising them. so, even if you do older past papers (which are tougher, in my opinion) you will be able to do the 2022 paper. I hope this helps, all the best!
they did for geography if u do it btw

Hey,
If your in year 11 rn I really wish you luck.
In my opinion us year 11s shouldn’t be doing our GCSES this year bcs all of the crap we have been trough like lockdown and nearly a year of our learning being disrupted.
I really from the bottom of my heart wish us luck and what ever will be will be xx 🌻
i dont think so tbh i started revision a month and a half ago and tbh i didnt revise for any of my mocks but now that i am revising im going from grade 5/6's to 8/9's and i just think ive been consistently revising and heavy revision over half term that what ever i come out with i put probably the best effort i could and im really happy with my progress

Hi, l just wanted to say please revise now for your exams. I revised a week before my GCSE exams and even if l passed all of my exams l knew l could have done better. So if you haven't made any notes yet just use ur textbook or revision videos from now and just reread and recall as much as possible and follow his tips. Hopefully u will do great! Make notes on things u recalled already - act as consolidated notes for short reviews.
-For science i just need to finish my anki cards using FreeScienceLessons
-For maths i just need to go over the maths genie vids then do some past papers
-The rest is just past papers then get my teacher to mark it

Any tips on revising after school? It can be very tiring and dreadful. Thank you for your videos though 💕
You got this! Maybe drink some green tea, and always study after you have eaten.
Keep a snack next to you (maybe chocolate/banana)
Think about the end goal, and after school make sure to give yourself a long break!
@@Revishaan instead of doing past papers can you do PMT for science and mathsgenie for maths as its still practice?
my revision technique is watching videos and then doing past paper questions will that still be beneficial then doing just past papers everyday where i dont know some of the stuff
They’ve already done a countdown 😭 there’s like 59 days until our exams
Is past papers even effective after all the content they cut out, ain't past topic papers from physicsandmathtutor more effective?
How can u find sm past papers tho bc for my boards there’s only around 6 papers from the new spec
u saying work for the summer, instead of being lazy now made me instantly start revising, just opened the biology advanced information
The thing is tho there is not a ton of past papers, like for geography there’s only 2018 and 2019 so I think the only other way is to work from workbooks, making notes, revision cards, etc.
Should I recap and relearn topics and then do loads of past papers or do past papers as I go along once I’ve learnt a topic
my AS levels in are from the 20th of April (first paper), and let me tell you, *I AM PETRIFIED.* this video made me feel a bit better; we got this y'all!!
You have got this :)))

I've got my AS levels on the 17th May and I haven't started revising it's so bad and I am currently on E's for everything 😭
Hey revishaa I’m currently having to do flash cards for chemistry do you suggest I continue making ones for physics or not? Also I am just starting to do flash cards for biology as I made a mistake to only focus on chemistry and physics what do you think about that considering I have under two months left? I am also studying for H tier.
And for English lit you have the inspector calls and Macbeth and the poetry anthology how would you revise effectively for these? Thanks again for your help appreciate it ❤️
how do people recall their notes without writing? i feel like i have to keep making notes over and over, flash cards don’t work for me
Is it okay if I start past papers during Easter? I don’t necessarily make notes but currently I’m just going over each topic and re learning it. Understanding the content for every subject. And then the whole of April I’m going to do just past papers every single day. Plus what is your advice for revising for English literature? Poetry, Macbeth, modern prose?
practice questions, make essay plans, make posters for each themes and key quotes etc
Yeah thats what I’m doing, from last week I’ve just been doing over all the content for my subjects - watch videos, make notes on anything I’m not 100% on and then make flash cards on everything, learn it all, then in Easter I’m gonna crack down on the past papers and do lots of blurting. Also I’m not revishaan but i recommend mr bruff for English
@@jadamaexd5007 thank you so much! Me too literally during Easter my plan is blurting and past papers! Hope we do great:))
for english lit i strongly recommend mr salles on youtube bc idk if i could have gone a 9 without his videos. i recommend making essay plans using his videos for each possible question and learning them by heart- something that does seem like a lot of work but its rlly the best way of securing a good grade. idk if this helps but good luck !!
I have one month untill my GCSEs I’m stressing like mad do u think revising right now will help or should I just leave it bc what if it’s pointless

isnt anki making notes too?
My mfl speaking exam is in 3 weeks😳
What is the optimal way to revise?
is it bad to do a summary page of all of a topic before doing focused questions on it. Is it a waste of time
When he says making notes is over does that mean I shouldn't be making flash cards? As that is how I revise by making new ones recalling info and blurting
yh making flashcards is good just make sure you go over them a lot especially the topics you find hardest, don;t spend too much time making them at this point just go over them and do LOTS of past paper questions
Hi, what software do you use to make mindmaps on ur Ipad? I’m currently using notability but I feel there isn’t enough room as it restricts you to one page

Use kami
do u have any tips on revising french?
Hi Revishaan, I was just wondering what to do if I haven't made all my anki flashcards for a significant number of subjects? I'm trying to get them all done before Easter, but any advice would help 🐣
Also, I don't know how to do two past papers a day, as they typically are at least 1hr+ and I don't always have time to do revision, as I have homework aswell.
I literally removed nothing from year 9 and if I do it’s not enough to get me a 7 how do revise to get a 7 without making notes cause one free science lesson turns into an hour of note taking and I doubt I will even re look over those notes what do you suggest I do
frr its so hard to do all those topics whilst taking notes but i would say do blurting which is where you write down everything you remember from a certain topic and then with a different colour pen, write down all the things you forgot or don't know from the video / spec and repeat it over a couple days. But also incorporate past paper questions with this to apply your knowledge once you learn a topic. That's what im doing
I'm currently 8ish for maths, science 7/8 combined, I do cs which was 8 but now a 5 from recent mocks 63/100. And re,geo, englishlan and lit are all 3 ands 4,
Do you think it's possible to brink these grades up to a 5 or above within the reamining time, Im a bit worried since I need 5s for all subjects are 8s or 7s for the ones i'm doing for a-level
Hi - Yes you do have time :) I'd recommend past papers now and improving exam technique
What should I do if made notes b4 but I feel like there not good enough what should I do ?
i would say do blurting which is where you write down everything you remember from a certain topic and then with a different colour pen, write down all the things you forgot or don't know from the video / spec and repeat it over a couple days. But also incorporate past paper questions with this to apply your knowledge once you learn a topic. That's what im doing and trust me it works because it stops you from writing a lot of notes and it's active recall
I’ve done mocks on all the topics recently so just need to refresh my memory and work on the hard stuff but I don’t have notes on some stuff eg English that I need or stuff that I don’t understand but will be the focus of the exam, should I still stop making notes now and if so how do u get around not having these notes?
make simple notes for english not whole essays so like do mindmaps or if you want to learn quotes, stick post-it notes around your house. Also watch mr bruff's videos for inspo. For recall subjects like science i would say do blurting which is where you write down everything you remember from a certain topic and then with a different colour pen, write down all the things you forgot or don't know from the video / spec and repeat it over a couple days. But also incorporate past paper questions with this to apply your knowledge once you learn a topic. That's what im doing
but for english you can still do exam questions to prepare aswell
if i haven’t finished all of my notes - what should i do? I’ve done all notes on paper 2 for all sciences, but not paper 1! what do you recommend?
Start paper 1
@@uronthetage299 paper 1 notes you mean? or exam questions?
Do notes for the rest of this week for paper 1 and then start doing past papers make you that you KNOW the content before applying it in practice papers
Hey please reply, I've made 0 notes/flashcards on my 9 GCSE subjects
I'm going to be recovering every topic and I'll be using Anki to make my flashcards
I should have around 7 hours a day of pure revision till GCSEs - should I make flashcards or use premade ones? I feel like typing the flashcards allow me to learn it better but from your experience do you think ittl take too much time typing out these flashcards?
I don’t think making flash cards at this point ( or any point ) is super useful, use ready made glashacrds or revision guides for the general content . If there’s anything you specifically don’t remember maybe then make ur own flash cards for it but don’t waste the bulk of ur time

Hi I was just wondering if you recommend that I get an ipad for a levels on a £800 pound budget? Should I still get the 12.9 ipad pro? Thanks
Hey - I would get the new iPad air if I was you! Much better for a student, and costs much less! Also it has the M1 chip :)
iPad Air is still smaller but imo only it’s the only downside
Just get a laptop instead if you haven't
Thankyou SO much. I feel like I’m progressing in every subject except maths. I’ve never never been good at maths, always hated it. However I still want a 7 cause obviously to get into medicine (and to succeed in a level chem) a 7 helps. Do you have any advice? I’m literally being consumed by anxiety when it comes to maths haha, no clue where to start.
Practice practice practice do every paper known to man until you understand as much as possible
Watch videos and try all the questions regarding the topic. It’s one of those annoying subjects where you’re either good at it naturally or you need to practice hard for it
When you revised your topics did you do the past papers when you were confident on all them or did you do the past papers beforehand and see what you needed to work on, if you know what I mean ?
I’m wondering the same lol
I actually beg to reply lol. Basically I’ve printed out all of the content I need to know for the science tests and making notes. I’m aware u said not to make notes but I feel like it helps me to revise I don’t know why Cus I just wrote notes about cell division and still remember them but should I post my notes on a wall aswell to help me recall? And also by saying not to makes notes kinda scared me lol.
Heyy - putting them on your note is fine :) If you find that they are actually helping you memorise the stuff, then do it.
Notes shouldn't help you *REVISE*. It isn't about revision, it is about memorisation. Test yourself after you have created the notes. If you do well, then continue making them. If not, you need to find another technique.
Sorry to be blunt - but hopefully it gets my message across :)))
oh no i haven’t made notes for every subject what am i going to do now 😭
Premade notes!
I'm not in year 11 yet but I'm picking my options next year and everyone says year 9/10/11 are the most important years so I'm trying to get ahead now
so instead of going over topics I should just do past papers straight away?
I'd read a bit before, but then yes do past papers
I’m in year 9 and might aswell start revising like 1 hour a day so I don’t have to overwhelm myself so much in the end of year 10/year 11
quite early, you should start in year 10. have all the fun before gcses come closer for you.. but for me 58 days left 😂
But my dilemma is that what if I do past papers but i don't know how to answer the questions on it?
me too i don’t understand when people say just do papers but we can’t answer them at all?? also a lot of the textbooks don’t even have content the papers do
Hi Revishaan
I am still halfway through my notes! Havent finished... What shall I do... Shall I just stop halfway through?
im having the same issue there is still so much i haven't done yet and im so worried so i think im going to stop doing notes and focus on understanding the topics and doing flashcards
U can write questions of certain topics, use your book and on whiteboard/paper you can write the answers to those questions, check your book/textbook to see if your answers are correct. In a different white board marker/pen write the correct answer. I did this for my ict mocks which I had a lot of notes to make and couldn’t but I ended up with a really high mark!
Is is the time to make flashcards
can u upload your anki flashcards from gcse?
If I didn't make any resources for revision how do I start now I'm getting 6s currently
past papers/questions , see where you went wrong revise them and repeat till the exams

I missed year 10 and half of year 11 and I'm working at 7s 6s and a few 8/9s do you think I can still secure top grades :(
If u put all ur effort in then yet! Anything’s possible I BELIVE in u
You're not the only one I myself missed sats in year 6, then I never had year 7 and only joined in last few days in year 8 in a new school (that school wasnt good for me) placed in bottom set, because they thought I would be behind, and struggle to keep up with the rest. Then I joined a newer one in year 10 (with default set which is set 3).
I also did computer science in yr 9, but they rejected me in new school because it was late and my set in maths. And yet also they didnt let me pick computer science for A-levels. Sometimes the things you wanna do, you might not get some opportunities on having a chance to get one, especially when you have lockdown new school and missed years in school.
Then later in year 11 I have achieved even one of the highest than set 2 science (combined higher) with 76. And later a 5 in maths foundation (the deadline for maths higher entry was met so even head of department said it was too late), which led me to sit the higher assessment and achieve again above average. And later then set 2 maths and set 2 science.
I'm telling you my story because no matter what gaps you are going through you can still do your best. You're doing better than I am. I only got an average of 5 or 6 as overall.
@@MineHarderYTPS why do you want to do computer science?
