Thank you for this! I have my GCSEs in less than two months and you've helped realise that i'm not too late. Also can i just say, i love the way you talk, you look almost animated and its satisfying to watch 🥰.
i'm so glad your video was recommended to me, i didn't do my gcses bc covid and now i'm all over the place with a levels and really need the As for medicine, ive been looking everywhere for a clear revision plan and yours is by far the best so thank you so so much, i've subscribed and look forward to your new videos :)

I LOVE THE EDITING! this was super helpful and comforting as i’m in the same boat but i must express how much as i appreciate the firing especially the ‘Marks’ part!
This video had single handedly given me so much encouragement and a far more positive outlook on the two months I have left before exams!😄 P.S this is an unexpectedly hilarious video, I mean is that Mark Anthony?😭

@@human-kg8nu omg I’m so sorry for the late replyy but yes i did a level chem, bio, and psych. Id say a level chem and bio are not easy but not extremely difficult you just need to make sure you don’t fall behind and don’t be afraid to ask your teachers for help the amount of times i went to my teachers office for help 😅 . Alevel psychology was my favourite mainly because i planned every essay question out there and made up potential questions that could come up (which they did!) so i felt more prepared for the exams
@@sairawr thanks I have started my alevels and I can't get the hang of things like sampling techniques basically the research methods are there any good youtubers you would recommend? So far my favourite is biology

Thank you so much! I have the staar test in like a month and I have to pass all 4 or it’s 30 hours of tutoring in the summer!! Thanks so much for motivating me and giving me some ideas on how to tackle it.
Thank you for this video! My GCSEs are next month and I'm extremely stressed. I watched the retrospective revision video last month and I found that very useful. I also watched another video by Ali Abdaal talking about some effective revision techniques and one of the most effective ones was active recall and I decided to do it (with my spec sheet ofc). However, I realised that the process of active recall was taking a long time so I'm not really sure what to do. (Do you mind giving some suggestions ahh) But I'll definitely try using flashcards as they seem very useful. (Also you should post more I love your videos)
^ For mocks I did decently but I mainly took notes (because my notes were non existent at the time) However, I think the process of taking notes is too time consuming so I'm struggling to figure out what to do.
So sorry I didn’t see this earlier, I just finished exams myself so I've been offline for a while! I hope your GSCEs went well. I think for any subject involving exams, I personally find it easiest to make notes and check my understanding in someway, whether through exam questions, or flashcards. Mark schemes are so so useful for GCSE and A-levels as they hit all the key points that you need to learn. I also find it useful to teach other people (or things, I tried to explain the whole of respiration to my teddy bear this year) as it helps you build confidence with the content. Hope this helped. So sorry for the late reply again! Good luck with everything! xx
Thank you so much!! I've missed year 10 and I'm struggling in year 11 (I've missed whole of gcse content) Im really scared for my gcses. Everyone in my class got really good grades for mocks. This gave me hope. Thank you :) 💞
This was so helpful! did you feel that the notes didn't take up too much time? i know a lot of people at this stage tell us to ditch making notes as they waste a lot of time making them.
So glad it helped! I tried not to spend too long on the notes I just abandoned all neatness and just used notes as a way to quickly jot down things from the spec (this was mainly for topics that are content heavy that I didn’t entirely understand, for topics that were more application based you can just quickly skim past this step)
ahh thank you so much for this video!!! how soon after making the notes would you do exam questions? and did you do all the notes first for everything and then exam questions or questions after each chapter?
you're very welcome, so sorry for the late reply, I had exams so I didn’t check my comments!😭 I would do exam questions pretty much immediately after the notes to check my understanding on the topic I had just covered. I would do exam questions after each topic as a topic review! Hope this helps and good luck with everything! (sorry if im too late)
thank you so much! It depends on how confident I was with the topic, if it waws something I found hard, I would review them more often (probably every other day), if it was an easier topic i would probably review them every 3/4 days!
How did you cover the whole specification in 5 weeks doing all the stages of your plan?? I’m doing A-level chemistry this year and have 50 days left at the time of watching this video
I would start off with the topics I felt I knew the least about as that would be the most time consuming. The first day I'd visit each topic, do the notes and attempt a few exam questions (max. 10 questions) and I wouldn't stress too much if I didn't understand it right away. I would make flashcards out of the questions I got wrong and move on to the next topic. I'd aim to do 2 topics a day eg. Group 7 and Transition metals. And later on a few days later, I would go back to try and understand the things I missed out the last time, and maybe make a few more flash cards if need be. It was more about using every day to build on the knowledge I had previously gained rather than trying to be amazing at everything right away. I really hope this helps, good luck with your exams :) x
