My narc ex discarded me 6 weeks ago, unexpectedly and at a terrible time and situation. I moved out soon after and she accused me of throwing her in the garbage. She also said I gave up too easily. When I left, I knew so little about narcissism compared to what I know now. I knew she had some toxic relationship dynamics, that’s it. All I knew was, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and she wouldn’t care if I fell apart, she’d only kick me while I was down. And I also knew I didn’t want to beg her to take me back. I did it once before and I didn’t want to do it ever again. Who the hell wants to be in a relationship where you continually get discarded and your partner withholds affection and warmth? Who actually plays the game with the narcissist? I found my ex very attractive and charming in the beginning, but nothings worth that!
Narky wants the best a person who loves and respects themselves. Someone who is confident, STRONG, and smart. Who's mysterious and a challenge that's where the great BOOSTS come from. Those traits show your value. But Narky can't quite get that person so has to always settle for the same weak doormat. It's supply here its oxygen but not quite like a hit from that valuable person...
The test I was blessed to have failed and flipping the script proved the best notion ever. There is no reasoning or logic with someone entrenched in their own self-destruction. There is no reconciliation of any type with someone full of resentment and spite. Considering what I experienced during and after, any fraction of trust is gone and the past is a hologram. After leaving and shacking up with someone else, there is no turning back - no interest whatsoever of listening to more sob stories or dusting off a woeful malcontent.

…after the narc hung up on me to pick up a booty call from a low grade supply remincient of a troll doll, I never picked up a phone call from him again. never responding to anything and waited for his wedding anniversary date to his 2nd wife to full on block and go no contact…I hope he never expected that and fully underestimated me…ignoring 37 hoover attempts for 6 months. Hoovers are nothing you want, the make your healing much more difficult and the narcs purpose to lure you in is to punish you like never before as a payback for leaving….the 37 hoover attempts were used as punishment I’m sure.
Narc hung up on me for not agreeing with him. That was in 2018. I've made sure that he will never hear my voice again. He's been trying to connect since then. He"s now wrapping up his 4th marriage and reaching out through social media. Updating me about his life even with no response. I am not even upset at him... I nothing him.
