Literally discarded me by leaving in the middle of a vacation and left me was on the other end of the planet with no cash. I said "okay! Sounds good. Bye!" Managed to get a loan and still stayed another two weeks in Asia. Had a great time and got home safe. Never spoke again. So sick these people.

My NEX went with me and our child across three states when we got to our destination he had nowhere for us to live but he has someone for him to stay me and my baby and son had to sleep in my car that night😢. It recently happened to me. Didnt even go past the 3mnth mark but was 2 yrs lovebombing by phone. Was all reverse too in the end. Covert Narcissism is even worse- you dont even really know its happening... until you do. I'm gutted, but understanding is key, & therapy too which I've had to apply for. It's literally being kicked off a pedestal they put you on - & they stepped off I guess too. 😢😮

I think I just accepted it as soon as he said he discarded. Moved out, and then a few months later wanting to meet up. I was like, this person is crazy, so I divorced asap and moved on. I think they are so unstable. You can't do these types of things to people. I was totally fine with breaking up and he was panicked as soon as I unfriended from social media, texted me within hours after not talking to me for weeks. I think they stalk you and then are completely shocked when you totally just move on and accept it. Remember, narcs DO NOT discard you, YOU are the one that has the power and strength enough to do so. They can't.

I'm only 24 years old and have only encountered one narcissist in my life so far. However, I have a feeling that more may be drawn to me to see if I've learned from my previous experience. I can't even describe all the things this 32-year-old man has done to me. He turned out to be completely different from who he pretended to be. I blame myself for opening up too soon and sharing my desires. Now, I've learned to keep quiet and truly listen to what a man wants, to see if our goals align. If not, I'm ready to move on. On my birthday, he intentionally hurt me by ghosting me and engaging with other women's pictures online. The list goes on!

I feel some compassion for them because other people's unhappiness makes them happy. Often, their parents treated them this way. They received no love, nurturing, or attention, just abuse. Other adults can sometimes compensate enough for the sick parents to save a child's emotional life, and ultimately they do not turn into narcissists. It occurs to me that at some point the child or adolescent opens up in some way to some form of evil, which encourages his destruction of others and eventually of himself. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, as do narcissists.

The Nark child had no decision in this but the mind had to adapt to the painful situation and circumstances. Now the Nark child is ALL POWERFUL ALL SUPERIOR.
