Well that's making a statement... This is what a $60.00 paint job looks like, outdoors without a booth, lights or temp controls. I am going to wear it as if it were a single stage paint and see how the weather effects it over time. This is the first time I ever took Rustoleum "fence paint" and used it to paint a car. But it did come out pretty nice...cool color too.
      Thanks for your comment

Looking awesome Cal. Mine is quite faded but the stock color on my '91 2-door tin top is very much like the color you've chosen here. Amazed you are enduring these hot AZ days outside painting! I doing good to muster up the motivation to just take out the trash let alone get any work done on my rigs! So tired of this brutal AZ heat, it's mid September for crying out loud!

Thanks for the compliment Shane. I am from here and used to work on the farm as a kid, but nowadays this heat kicks my ass as well. 1 day working outside requires 2 days for me to recover indoors at my present age. Cooler days are coming but next summer will be worse than this one.
This color is Sail Blue, a Rustoleum product... Paint job cost @ $60.00 . We will see how it handles the AZ sun.

@@tufftrails Looking forward to the progression and re-assembly. Yes, I saw the paint details in the video description, thanks for posting those details.
Lived here for over 40 years myself, spent many years working and playing outside in the summers. These days I have no interest. Waiting impatiently for cooler days. Sticking mostly with indoor video production until then. So many projects on the to-do list!
      Keep up the great work!
