As I understand it, Scott told the story he wanted to tell and was done. Rare to see a creator stop when there's still money to be made, but he did what he set out to do and stopped.
I JUST finished watching this series... loved it. Ray had it right... there are jerks out there who will continue to be jerks until taught a lesson. If you let them walk over you, they will continue to walk over others. He was more than willing to show violence to bullies or his "hits"... almost always bad people. But also willing to have a good heart for those who were good themselves. They way he treated his brother, Gary, and even strangers who were good people showed he cared about others.
Was bullied for the first 2 years of Secondary School by 2 lads who never let up. I wasn't a big kid but I was athletic. School sports day just past the Olympics, a chance for my class to try the Shot Put. I did the spin thing and away it went farther than even the coaches expected. Just at that moment one of the bullies decided to walk across the triangle. Shot took him right in the back of the head. Fractured skull. I looked at the faces around who looked at me. Learned 2 things, 1. They thought it was deliberate, and 2. I discovered perception. Anybody trying again to bully me had now to think of consequences. Never knowing time or place. Served me well. Love the series. Best from Jockland. P.S. It was an accident, honest.
@@justinmagee2203 Trite and cliché, certainly. The John Wick fantasies of someone who always wished they had fought back or stood up or even been consequential enough to pick on. Just like Jussie.
@@jochenderuyck8238I heard Justfied was good. Deadwood was definitely good but things came up and it ended up in the backburner. But I'd absolutely vouch for this show. Great writing and characters are legitimately likeable and three dimentional. fights can last seconds and are still brutal while half the show is him just being a dad, a friend or an ex. It's not long, just three seasons that will fly by.
as someone that was bullied for 14 years, came home bloodied and bruised from beatings, clothes ripped to shreds, i can tell you that showing the bully that you wont take their shit anymore works, violence is NOT always the answer, but when push comes to shove, bullies will always run when they are confronted.
@@Madflog01 and ladies and gents, here we have the perfect example of someone who without knowing it probably, is a bully. This was well put together, but I'm old school... I thought this was going to be a Mr Inbetween montage played to George Thoroughgood's song "Bad to the Bone". So, you know, your video clip title set the bar pretty high. Disappointment is not the right word.
I love this show and can’t say enough good things about it and have watched all season several times but can’t find the third season on dvd for North American region. Please help me if you can

Moron ,sounds like the grown men of today are looking up to an actor playing a murderer, he’s a killer for money, or intimidates for criminals. That’s what you think should be looked up to?
the first season was a classic, he was down to earth and low key in a really menacing way. Then it started to go hollywood, they could have kept him the same and it would have been a great series.
This is a terrible title for Ray. He isn't bad to the bone. Man has morals, despite being and extremely violent person and having a violent profession.
Never understood why this show stopped . It was awesome

Sometimes best to not run it dry. Bloody good series though as you say
@@phantomdancehe had done what he wanted ,was ready to leave after 3 seasons
That ending, when he looks at you. You know it was over for those guys, and whoever sent them.
Which was the point, the cycle had to end somewhere.
@richestTea, yeah that smile at the end is his devil smile, few people that see it end up well overall.

Did Jussie Smollett help you write this?

Cool story bro 😵💫
Most underrated series on the box. It's brilliant people! Get it watched
Deadwood, Justified, and Mr. In Between are three of the greatest series.
What? I have only watched Deadwood of these three and its my number one series. Then the wire and then The Sopranos
Also Barry 😊

Damon Herriman was in both Justified and Mr. Inbetween.

Guys, let’s just say that most bullies will crap out when confronted, but some won’t.
Be prepared for a battle. 🤗🤗
Most bullies only understand violence. Sadly. Try talking to them and they see you as weak.
Scott Ryan is brilliant!
There is a lil Mr in between in all of us ....Salute Ray
This show should Never have been stopped. It was Brilliant and Aussie too.
It wasn't stopped.
Fantastic show wish it was still going love it

One of the best series ever this
Why is Scott not making another series, it's TV gold loved every episode.
Great show. Ray kicks ass.
Best show ever. Original & awesome.
Best show ever, loved every minute!!
Awesome show
good stuff
I’m not sure that was what Jesus meant: “better to give than to receive.” But a great study of a complex, motivated character.
I think Elton John said it ,could be wrong though.
Great series
Good edit cheers
This show so needs to come back
God the values in this show are beautiful
Have to see this.
You will enjoy it.
Just as good as the sopranos!
It's better.
Ray would wipe that pygmy thing out before they even new he was in the country
1:13 that’s is so true and good lesson to teach the kids .
Treat everyone with respect!
When it doesn’t come,
Thats when you have a choice to make!
Ray actually explained it to his daughter very well.
Yeah my dad was a cop. He told me to just be nice. I now have a personality disorder.
Great show, sad that it ended......
yes its awesome also to me, sometimes this kind of man is needed.
I wish Netflix would pick up th series
Respect chat ultimately unwinds with Freddy.
Hopefully they come back wit full movie
