- Relieve stress and anxiety naturally with these simple Qigong exercises. This practice promotes relaxation and helps to release tension and reduce the feeling of anxiety.
Circling the arms helps to relax the muscles of the chest and upper back, which are often tight due to stress.
Rolling the arms is a common Tai Chi exercise, helps to open the chest and is good for releasing tension and negative emotions from the heart center.
Qigong abdominal breathing has a calming, sedative effect on the nervous system and helps to calm down and clear the head.

I’ve spent the last three years trying to squeeze time in daily to do meditation, breath work and exercises. Most often I’m doing them indoors and have to rely on my imagination to experience being in nature. Finding time for all three along with daily life only added to my stress. Wonderful - your video practices are helping me so much. i actually hurt my arm in physiotherapy - (that shouldn't happen) - and I wasn't able to move my arm for two days -which meant i couldn't really do anything. I had told the doctor i couldn't do weight bearing and he asked how i had been able to improve my neck movement so much in one week -so i told him i had started doing this with you. (and i had tried others and thought you were the best) He wanted to see what some of the movement s were and i showed him - And he said , great do that. Meanwhile - I have just done this one tonight and been able to get movement in my arm with a bit of crunch but no pain -and it's time for bed . Thankyou so so much.

This the single video that has me into Qigong. I’ve done this video every day for a month now. I love it so much, it’s very relaxing I feel instantly more peaceful after doing it every time. I find I’m sleeping better at night. The final motion where are you imagine a big ball of soothing energy around you, what is that exercise called? -32 year old guy, NYC 👍✌️

I felt the energy moving through my hands but I had a pain in my knees at one point of the exercises because of the qigong standing.
Hi, yes working on your alignment is very important so you can be relaxed and maximise the benefits of a qigong practice.

I loved this, and do many of your other videos. However, I have neck neck pain and stiffness after I'm done. Any suggestions as to how I can avoid this uncomfortable feeing? Thankyou very much.
Hi Annette, thank you for sharing. Body awareness is one of the main training aspect of qigong. The more we practice, the better we become at feeling the body. Notice if you apply force or strain when you stretch ( neck especially ), are you trying to go all the way? There is a saying in Qigong training, if there is pain, there is no gain. Stress and excessive strain, stagnate the energy. The main principle in qigong is to let the energy flow smoothly. Practice to relax the muscles and let the movement be soft and natural. I hope this helps.

Hi, you probably trying too hard when doing the movement (like we all do). Pay attention to the shoulders and upper back, let them stay relaxed and melt down into your torso on an exhale. Or take time between the exercises to soften and loosen any muscle tension
