Not sure I am. Everyone doing on youtube is putting some kind of music in the backround. I'm not sure why, it must somehow compel viewers to watch longer because of shortened attention spans,.. but it does the opposite for me. Tarting up a video isn't necessary if you have good content. That's why I watch Eric's vids. and I not even interested in semis.
I always get a certain amount of mixed feedback when I use some music. I think it can add to making it a better viewing experience if not over done or obnoxious or placed over things you want to hear.
Thanks 👍 i think the majority seem to like a little music now and then, some people don't nothing wrong with that. ill use some when i think it works and wont when i don't can't make everyone happy all the time.
Great video. Learnt a lot today watching this and the video about your blower fan. Great content brother. Keep posting repair videos about the toyota pickup! Not a lot of videos on repairs for these trucks
Awesome job buddy hope the next time you order the exact one thanks for your channel everything is useful and practical and im glad that i found your fabulous channel

Hey brother you are a great mechanic /do it all kind of guy, I understand if you can't answer all my comments, you have a lot of followers, so dont worry if you dont answer my comments all the time brother you are a busy man and I respect you for that, especially doing these jobs by yourself, that's another thing that you do that would be hard for somebody else. Be truthful brother you have a superman uniform under your clothes, by the way I am honored to call you my friend and to have watched your very informative videos, I hope youtube pays you a lot for all that content and if they dont, they better you deserve it brother. Your friend from Larned Ks, Eric Houser, be safe.
The environmental impact of manufacturing one new vehicle is going to be greater than running this one for the rest of it's life without a cat. Might see 3k miles per year if it's lucky. If it was going to be a daily commuter car is be more inclined to run a cat. Thanks for watching 👍
@@Ezrider359 Ok I see that point but it all adds up and people are looking up to you so being a good example matters as well. I can tell myself the same thing to throw just one cup, one straw, one butt, out the window. :(

i don't think it matters much as long as the oil meets the specs for your engine. synthetic are better but im not a fan of extended drain intervals so they don't really make sense to me. i run 15/40 mobile delvac in everything i can get away with it because i buy it in bulk...lol
@@Ezrider359 Ezra, from my long experience 15/40 viscosity is too high as the first numbering - as you know -is meant for cold lubrication abilities. Dynamic and kinetic viscosity exactly. With 05- or 10/W40 you are fine. As more hp output the engine generates the lower dynamic viscosity the better. So a.e., a Lamborghini V 12 uses 0W50 a BMW M 5W40 Toyota 3.0 V6 10W40, McLaren 0W60, a stationary engine like a forklift 20W50 etc. What means by using in a 2.3 L standard straight 4 turbo; Volvo Saab FIAT Honda etc. and not as any old fashioned low-rev V8 etc. In Siberia on -20° C they use -10/W30 (yo, that exists). Just to tell. Regards
In America at the time this truck was made they were just a Toyota pickup. In other parts of the world they were the Hilux. The 89-95 body style was the last one before the Tacoma came out

What was the price of exhaust
Why did you not weld a flange on and use a donut exhaust gskt.
$105. Weld is less likely to leak than a gasket
Good job

I was wondering how you get rid of the check engine light with a O2 sensor bay 1 code?
not running any kind of ecm on it.
replace the sensor, disconnect battery and then run it till computer resets.
What ..name brand tires are those on the toyota. ....mike from minnesota

Why do you have to disconnect battery before welding??
safer for the battery as well as anything electronic in the vehicle.
