Thanks! It now idles great, but I took it down the road today and it's bogging down a lot if I give it very much throttle. Might need to clean the carb from sitting for 18 months.
Amazing!! I'm doing my own custom exhaust on my 89 4R 5VZ swap. This is my first welding project also! All your videos are awesome, keep sharing with us! I learn alot and reference your videos often! ...also I noticed the 1st Gen 4R in the background 😁
Love this series so much. I would marry this 22re series if it would take me. .. Bro, if I pre paid for some video weld lessons would you take them? I love you man, but that pigeon poop welding could turn into a stack of dimes with just a little attention. Thanks for the series, always enjoy it, Im very grateful for your channel.
Thanks! As for the welds, if I really focus and take my time, I'm half way decent. I spent like 3 hours on that damn bracket and just wanted to get it done... Plus nobody will ever see it up close in person.

That engine sounds much better now. I'm happy it was just the carb and the exhaust! Great project! Congrats!

U always make lemonade from lemons & do a bang up job! Cool job! 👍🤔😥🇺🇸
Thank you! More to come...
Getting ready to put an exhaust on my C10, this was super helpful!
Glad it helped!
Most people and shops skip the pipe to trans connection and wonder why they crack their headers...GOOD job including that....
Yes absolutely important! I spent like 3 hrs on that bracket... if I could have skipped it, I would have!
It is looking good!
Thanks, I drove it today and found some more issues that need work = more videos!

Thanks! The 4runner is the channel's next project, as soon as this pickup is on the road!
Always great content. Keep it up man.
Thanks, will do!

Doesn't it need a flex pipe?
No, most older vehicles never had one, with the exception of some fwd cars with transverse mounted engines.
