Seems like they still got feelings for each other. She tried so hard to roast him but when she talked about their daughters and memories she can barely hold the tears and the closing was so emotive that he actually cried.
It's sad.. you can see it was cut short over mistakes. And never healed in a way. It was obvious by the way those two fought tears as he and her still have a flame. That's obvious and was pretty emotional to see. I almost felt like the words weren't there because their faces said it all.

This was the best roast of the evening. Roasting without crossing the line, and extremely funny the whole time. I was so disappointed when they split up, just because I was hoping against all odds that they would have the one Hollywood marriage that would really last. But I'm glad they've always stayed such good friends through it all.
