When your baby dies and no longer has a heartbeat, it's the most devestating moment. Then the grief swallows you. I'm so sorry she's knows this pain as well.
@UurdChuluut Negen my husband and I lost our first son at 21w5d. Which is almost 6 months. So many people focus on trauma of how it affects the moms and miss how it affects the dads. It is trauma on both of them. Heartbreaking for both of them. And possibly drove them apart from each other. But, I wouldn't want to judge someone's grief, or how they handle it, without having relationships or conversations with them about. It's terrible for them both.
Soo true... When my exhusband and I lost our boy at 4 months pregnant, that emotional and mental anguish was worse than childbirth itself. Unfortunately we could not rebound from that and divorced. I wouldn't wish miscarriage on my worst enemy.
I know this all too well unfortunately. I am currently going through this after having my daughter still born this past august 2019 at 39wks and 3 days. To be having contractions and hearing the words "I am so sorry sweetie but she is gone" are words seared in your memory bank! Men greif differently and I a learning that now with my husband. Slowly we are pushing through but there are days when it seems strained for us both. Some persons cannot handle the pain or the reminder of what was to be but isnt. So on top of greif we are working on our marriage for our 2 older kids
@@kryssiewoo51 My heart aches for your families lost. Your daughter was perfect and dearly loved. Sending you as many hugs as I can and crying with you over your loss. I am so sorry.
"Why is this culture so unnerved by women marrying younger men???" Well, it's because of people like you Diane. We won't forget who you were and what kind of questions you asked young women back in the 90s and early 2000s.
It sounds like in a roundabout way you're insinuating Sawyer is a lesbian. I sure don't know how you came to that conclusion and you're wayyyy out there with such a wild overboard statement. Although, you could be right as nowadays, you never know.
Wow your comment peaked my interest because I do not know as much about Diane Sawyer as the Americans do. I'm about to look up her questions to young women in the 90s! BTW I'm old enough to remember Ricky Lake and Morrie Povich! (I may have spelt this guy's name wrong!)
My heart breaks for her. I had two miscarriages in my 40.s...One at age 42, and another at age 47. I got pregnant naturally both times, but lost both pregnancies around the 12-week mark. I guess I can't carry babies to term anymore, even though I can still get pregnant naturally. It hurts, but I'm grateful for the son I have... Sometimes more babies just aren't meant to be...
Heart breaking? Divorce is more heart breaking. Many parents have no idea how it hurts children. Parents only focus on their needs and not children. “I am not deserving; I am not lovable” when she said that it almost got me in tears. Growing up where girls were valued less than boys, I felt her words deeply. It takes a lifetime to heal and grow from it. Demi is beautiful and wise

I like Demi..she's great and very accomplished ...but the objective fact is she was FORTUNATE to have 3 awesome daughters, wealth that 99.9 of people on the planet will never ever approach along with that lifestyle. Yes she had a crazy sad tough upbringing....but women who are beautiful and smart have INCREDIBLE power in their late teens 20s and 30s no man will ever have in his life so when a guy DOES make a success of himself even when he is not particular "attractive" according to the self important...it DOES have merit and a guy who has worked hard for decades on honing a skill not leaning on his looks nearly as much is not going to choose an older women to breed with or even consider marriage to if he is single because why should he if he has choice?
I agree. I like how she handled herself and I really like that she split with him immediately after she found out. Lots of people stay which is really pathetic.
If Demi Moore is insecure ,and she is beautiful, rich and talented, makes me think everyone,no matter how rich or beautiful you are ,everyone has something going on.
It is so very sad that such a beautiful, intelligent woman like Demi would EVER feel unlovable and so vulnerable. @@gee2541 Agreed! It was not a good relationship, to say the least, for her. Too bad her and Bruce didn't stay together. It's great that she left Ashton, though. A lot of people don't have the courage to leave even after cheating which is pathetic.

Demi is incredibly articulate, wise, and responsible. She has grown into a woman with qualities I'd like to gain. Her comments and book helped me realize how much in my life I was reacting to a very similar upbringing, so I'm grateful she so openly shares.
The pain she was going through trying to have children in her 40s was perfectly explained by her prior description of why we judge older women with younger men. I hope one day we can see women as more than just bodies connected to sex and children.
I'm 48 my husband is 31 ,I actually questioned marrying him bc I'm unable to have children. He told me he didn't want children especially if it meant not being with me, I spoke with his mother, who said that I should trust in our relationship. Now I can't believe that I ever gave it a second thought,.
A lot of people would never consider to be so open and giving of their life struggles. Demi has an ease about sharing avenues of her life in a way of acceptance. She owns the structure that is found in a good therapist..her beauty is whole.
CJ Dillon not always look at Joan rivers. Some women are just beautiful and take good care of themselves. Demi is one of those women, even if she did get plastic surgery, if she wasn’t beautiful to begin with it wouldn’t matter.
I admire and appreciate Demi's honesty. Like when she says that being 40 and in love with a 25-year-old, she just felt like a teenager again who just wanted to be liked and desired. It's clear she had some self-esteem issues, and this younger man's attention and desire for her made her feel better. So it drove her to try to please him in whatever way she could, either by desperately trying to give him a child or by sexually pleasing him with threesomes etc. Psychologically, this is all very interesting and makes sense. And, at the same time, it is not surprising in the slightest that that didn't work out for very long.
Too much of an age gap isn't good, and that goes both ways, Bruce Willis marrying someone that is the same age as his daughter is also not good. It's better if people are near the same age, they have similar interests and more in common and at the same stages in life, such as having a family. Demi Moore should have realized by marrying a man so young he would most likely want to have his own family and being already in her 40s could be a problem.
@@joannaherodotou1491 that is not the point, you can't judge a age that is always the same if that was 39 years difference that is out of order but atleast 20 to 30 years age difference in between, look at Sly and Jennifer 22 years difference in between
Yes, when you’ve had a tough childhood as I suspect she did- didn’t read the book but know a bit about her childhood….thats how you feel. Have been there myself so I can identify too.

Ew. Listen to you giving her permission to grieve just because she met your definition of a viable fetus she could claim as a baby. Who are you? Shut up. Have you ever lost a baby or a child? Just shut up.
Anyone intrested in her story should check ouy Dr. Gabor Mate on childhood trauma and how it will shape you for the rest of your life. Everything Demi did was an effort to numb her unconscious belief that she was not wanted. If you think you dont have this feeling, think again deeply, shes just brave enough to admit it
I had no idea about any of this. You see Hollywood actresses/actors and think their lives are perfect. I only knew she was this beautiful iconic actress from massive movies I watched growing up, who had been married twice but didn't know much more of the details. I cannot believe all that she has been through. When she said that she felt like the two year old who didn't feel loved and didn't feel worthy of love, I burst into tears. I wish her first marriage to Bruce had lasted so she could of saved herself all the heartbreak that came with Ashton & the relationship they had together, she deserved so much more. I feel angry for her that on top of everything she’d endured it then cost her 20 years sobriety but that was the only coping mechanism she knew, learnt behaviour from her parents coming back to haunt her yet again but it was better than the alternative. At least she’s still here & she had the courage & determination to pick herself up & start over. She comes across as such a lovely, gentle person I knew nothing of her horrifying past. I feel so badly for Demi. I don’t recall her losing a child with Ashton. I cannot imagine the loss she felt. 42, now looking back is still so young.
She has been through it! Still such a beautiful woman. I hope she knows her worth. I hope she values her career still. If not, I wish I could tell her, girl go on! Get up and GO! You are worth it all, and so deserving.
We have so many people, circumstances and events that shape our lives. Little by little they take away from us what takes a lifetime to rebuild.
One thing is for certain, while we must be strong for our children and for others but mostly importantly for ourselves. No one person can ever complete us. Only the good Lord. He is first, the rest fall into line at some point. God bless you, Demi.

Psychologically, this is all very interesting and makes sense.

if she woulda been smart she would've never married someone that was 25 years old. dont put the blame on ashton
Such a strong a beautiful woman--married a younger guy for that young dick, because the old, irrelevant hag wanted to "feel young again" lmao, she even admitted that 😂 What an inspiration eh?
Cassie Miller you should be in church instead of analyzing a fb comment. Go troll somewhere else 😂
Krotiz inspiration? Who the fuck said that? I said she is beautiful and strong. Only because she made it through her childhood. You sound real bitter.
Demi Moore is SO beautiful, so talented, so endearing! I have nothing but admiration, respect and love for her!
I can’t wait to read her book. I’ve always liked her!
Dead Air 15 y/o and she was 19. They're both in their teens.
Kissing? As in French kissing???
Ghia Ferrari one is an adult and one is not. If the genders were switched thos would not be a convo
Finally a celebrity who doesn't look like a fake plastic doll. Her face actually moves when she talks!!
She's done a lot of plastic surgery, what are you talking about?
@@chrislovitt46 well i guess I am comparing to gwen stefani..seeing some of her recent interviews..yikes her mouth barely moves when she talks..her face looks like a plastic doll.. Demi didn't seem to look like that
Demi's face doesn't move either - that's how I see it
@@kmckenney1311 You couldn't have said a more contradicting thing. She clearly looks plastic, just like that woman from Friends. Oddly enough, they look exactly the same.
WHAT???
God bless you Demi. I pray you experience His unreserved love.
I totally relate, been through similar not feeling loved by my mother as a child my whole life and falling in love with a man I was 35 he was 26 and he betrayed me with not just cheating but got mistress pregnant while we were married it brought me to my knees in 2019. Made me question everything about life, about relationships, about my past and what I needed to heal to be a better version of myself. At least Ashton was man enough to admit he cheated unlike mine he lied for several months making me think I was losing my mind. I’d take honesty over screwing with my head. My heart hurts for her because I understood her 😢
Demi is so solid, so real, how can anyone not LOVE HER!!
I can tell her book must be very good, from watching this interview. Demi has a thoughtful way of expressing what she has gone through. 🕊
So instead of liv8ng your life u rather read about someone sale life just like American people to praise celebrities but for there failures but can clean up there own back yard
@@718empire you are doing the same but you watching youtube about her life
I just finished listening to it on audible and it was so honesty she shared it all. She’s been through a lot
Trace Jean a lot *
Definitely buying the book. I've always been a HUGE fan of hers. Now I like her even more.
Yes, I do believe she covers that period in her life in the book.
Angela Burke Moore is her stage name. No, she's not a nut case, she was going through some problems, like we all do. I'm sure you haven't had a picture perfect life.
@@CeCe984 Let me guess, you know her personally huh??? 😂😂😂
Benny D Let me guess, you're a wise ass, huh???
You have Demi Moore, the most beautiful woman and you play away.. Grass is never greener my friend.. Your loss
She's a very strange interviewer staring at demi for so long , uncomfortable as !!demi.has such a natural beauty .she wise and beautiful.
When rich people can afford therapy and then write a book about “overcoming”
Lucy Stanton write your own book. Striking a chord with others feelings is humanity, not wealth
Helping others 👍
so? Loved the book and helped me. maybe u should read it lol
So glad I clicked this. Im happy to see and hear how’s she’s doing. She’s still very beautiful, strong, and a great actress. I always loved her since about last night. I can’t wait to read her book. You are loved Demi Moore
How important it is to love yourself and not allow anyone to make you feel lacking. Also learn that in life everything begins and everything ends and that we continue our way....
I really get her way of seeing herself. it’s hard to overcome trauma but with a lot of self-reflection and work, it can be done. It isn’t always gone. You have to work through a lot of things in life to find peace. I admire your honesty.
So heartfelt conversation, so awesome Demi Moore! Hats off to you, she’s simply amazing with the truth and the life she went through! God bless her!
Living much of her life as an A list celebrity she’s lived a relatively private life in comparison to her peers. She’s not someone you see doing interview after interview, warts & all every other week. What she’s accomplished in spite of it all is inspirational. I have so much more respect for her learning of her backstory & her honesty given her status is quite something else. I’m sure writing down her truth served as therapy but it’s also going to resonate with so many women, in so many different ways, it’s an incredibly brave thing to do but I hope she knows the strength & hope it will give others in similar situations. Good for you Demi I hope the next chapter of your life is everything you want it to be & more.
The change is a crucial time in a relat... She was having a hard go of it. Even her kids couldn't stand her. She barely survived it. It is truly hell on some women. Especially beauties.
That's all so true
I give her a lot of credit for being brave and honest enough to share her struggles
If we don't learn to value and love ourselves
How can we love Anyone else?
