She made a good point that EVERYONE talked about her being fifteen years Ashton’s senior but then Bruce married someone 25 years his junior and no one batted an eye. Sexism, everybody.

It's because men are still capable of producing offspring for most of their lives but women can't conceive beyond a certain age. As a society, we have a genetic imprint to discriminate on those terms because we want to further the species.

100 IQ Society: "Oh look over there! Cougar and boy toy. Cougar boy toy. Cougar boy toy. Cougar boy toy! Eeeew. But Look over there! Gold digger and pervert!. Gold digger pervert! Gold digger pervert!"

There is a double standard in society but the victim of it is not cougars and boy toys. It's us gold diggers and perverts.

Absolutely. The men in the comments trying to blame it on biology here are the exact reason we have this issue. He’s not trying to make anymore children at this age, so sit the fuck down. As humans we can make conscious decisions, so just because we are biologically wired for something, doesn’t mean we have to 1. Abide by it 2. Make the same choices. Nobody states why women CANT, they just make up shitty excuses why men are allowed to, even though men aren’t making babies at that age so their excuses are invalid. Sexism at its finest.

She has been through it! Still such a beautiful woman. I hope she knows her worth. I hope she values her career still. If not, I wish I could tell her, girl go on! Get up and GO! You are worth it all, and so deserving.
We have so many people, circumstances and events that shape our lives. Little by little they take away from us what takes a lifetime to rebuild.
One thing is for certain, while we must be strong for our children and for others but mostly importantly for ourselves. No one person can ever complete us. Only the good Lord. He is first, the rest fall into line at some point. God bless you, Demi.

She's not loved by many. She's only loved by many because of who she is, and what she's accomplished. Do you think she'd be "loved by many" if she were a housekeeper working at Holiday Inn? So the love that people have for her is not genuine love. And that's what causes the inner conflict. When you're rich and famous, you can't tell who REALLY loves you vs. who loves you only because you are rich and famous. This is why, once you become rich and famous, the only true people you can trust are your friends who supported you way before you became rich and famous because you can guarantee that those friends truly loved you for YOU.

I admire and appreciate Demi's honesty. Like when she says that being 40 and in love with a 25-year-old, she just felt like a teenager again who just wanted to be liked and desired. It's clear she had some self-esteem issues, and this younger man's attention and desire for her made her feel better. So it drove her to try to please him in whatever way she could, either by desperately trying to give him a child or by sexually pleasing him with threesomes etc. Psychologically, this is all very interesting and makes sense.
And, at the same time, it is not surprising in the slightest that that didn't work out for very long.

Too much of an age gap isn't good, and that goes both ways, Bruce Willis marrying someone that is the same age as his daughter is also not good. It's better if people are near the same age, they have similar interests and more in common and at the same stages in life, such as having a family. Demi Moore should have realized by marrying a man so young he would most likely want to have his own family and being already in her 40s could be a problem.

@@joannaherodotou1491 that is not the point, you can't judge a age that is always the same if that was 39 years difference that is out of order but atleast 20 to 30 years age difference in between, look at Sly and Jennifer 22 years difference in between
