Later in this show during Echoes David Crosby sneaks up to watch the band play from the side of the stage and he's clearly mesmerized. It's cool to see.
This live powerful performance gives me the chills!! It is soooo smooth and to see Crosby and Nash on vocals - wow just wow! The sax is also unreal. Your reaction is priceless, thanks so much guys for posting this one 🧡
Comfortably Numb from the SAME CONCERT features David Bowie. Simply stunning. He owns it! And Gilmours performance leaves the audience spell-bound! Great concert with three great Davids!
This is one of my favorite performances of this incredible song. I love every moment, especially Gilmore's playing, but when I first watched this video a few years ago, my jaw dropped open when the sax-man switched from the bass sax to the smaller sax in one fluid motion. Perhaps I live under a rock, but I had never seen that done before and I was truly impressed. His sax playing was great as well. Crosby and Nash looked like they were happy to help out, and they also sang well. Great moment in music!
That was Dick Parry the original saxophonist on the 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Dark Side of the Moon' albums. The unofficial fifth member of Pink Floyd. Forgot how good this version sounded. Thanks for reminding me. ♥️
Very sad to hear that on 10th January, Jeff Beck, the legendary rock guitarist and one of the greats, died at the age of 78. Always remember him in the iconic 1960s band, The Yardbirds, which also had, at different times, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. Jeff developed the fantastic riff for one of my favourite Yardbird songs, Heart Full of Soul. He went on to have a really successful solo career but I was reading that at one time Nick Mason of Pink Floyd wanted him to replace the late Syd Barrett, and The Rolling Stones also wanted him to replace the late Brian Jones. So, the world of rock music and these bands could have been very different! Jeff was one of rock's most influential guitarists, RIP Jeff Beck, you will be very sorely missed.🎸❤
I find it fascinating that Jeff Beck was not only asked to be in Pink Floyd, but also the Rolling Stones...can anyone else in this world say that?!? Rip JB...you certainly marched to your own drummer,,,,er, rather shredded.....
@@alansmith7626 I watched a YT video of a tribute to Jeff by Brian May of Queen. It is such a beautiful, moving tribute from another fantastic rock guitarist. Brian suggested an instrumental by Jeff which shows just how good he was, it's called Where Were You. I listened to it and it's one of the most beautiful, haunting, atmospheric melodic guitar pieces I've ever heard. It's from the album Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop, released in 1989. RIP Jeff Beck, you will never be forgotten.🎸🎸
Ok...I just love and adore Pink Floyd, in all their forms over the years. I especially love and adore David Gilmour, in all of his forms...over the years. But watching you two guys - watch and listening to David playing is especially great!! Why? Because of how you guys express your love and adoration for this amazing band!!❤️❤️
Thanks for this reaction guys! It reminded me of the Pink Floyd Animals concert I was fortunate enough to see. The chills were one on top of another all night long! Amazing is not a strong enough adjective to describe the entire concert! Simply stunning! David Gilmore is breathtakingly talented!!
OMG! I thought I was seeing a ghost, you obviously posted this prior to David Crosby's passing and I'm watching it after his passing, I'm in aww, never knew they played together, this is great👍🥰
Hello, George & Patrick, glad to see you back at it! David Gilmore has still got it 💪his voice is still just as strong and clear as ever. Beautiful performance... Another great reaction👍
They also do the CSN song Find the Cost of Freedom. It’s sublime. Definitely worth a view (or 100). David’s voice fits in so well with Crosby and Nash.
Yesterday night I watched shine on you crazy diamond two reaction vedios of yours..then today morning when I went to you tube.. here you are again... With shine.... Keep it up guys.. and I like to see reaction vedio of breath.
Thanks for this one....one of the last performances with Rick Wright. When you can, check out the title track: ua-cam.com/video/kEa__0wtIRo/v-deo.html The harmonies and David's solos will put a lump in your throat and mist in your eyes - He can do more with a single bend than most can do with the entire fretboard ....
One of my favorite versions of this song. This lineup was essentially posy Waters Pink Floyd minus Nick Mason. Rick, Guy Pratt, Jon Carin, Dick Parry all in this Gilmour band. You should watch this entire show. David Bowie sings Comfortably Numb, and Crosby, Gils and Nash have a few other songs they play that are gorgeous.
Please please do In Any Tongue Live in Pompeii, David deserves some credit for his solo work.. And its a war song so fitting for these crazy times we are in!
Crosby & Nash said how they loved doing this concert. Saying it was the most professional enjoyable crew. Which says this shows what kind of person Dave is. Same concert: David Bowie sings Comfortably Numb..Suggest: Daves " Live at Gdansk: "on an island" (actual bow clap at the end from orchestra)"Echoes" Take a breathe" " Live at Pompeii" in any tongue"**** Roger Water intro to the "Wall" concert. " in the Flesh"( live) from Roger Water the Wall (digital Video): warning if you see the beginning you will want to watch the whole concert ***********
This entire concert is amazing from start to finish, only second to Pulse IMO. He plays his solo album On An Island, which is fantastic as well, plus Floyd classics. Crosby & Nash sing on a few other songs: On An Island, The Blue, and one of their own songs: Find The Cost Of Freedom. Another incredible version of this song is the Gdansk version, where they play the intro on wine glasses. Spine Tingling!
Love Gilmour so much. Please check out another master musician and singer that I grew up on Peter Gabriel, particularly Lovetown. Thank you. Love what I'm seeing of your reactions so far.
Please do solo David Gilmour ~ "No Way Out Of Here", "Raise My Rent", "So Far Away", "I Cant Breathe Anymore" and "No Way".... I promise you will not regret it...!
Hey guys I'm from Brazil and I like so much your channel! I'd like to share you the music "Still Got The Blues"(Live at Hammersmith Odeon) by Gary Moore, it's a real masterpiece.
The only music that has the same emotional impact for me is classical music like Ode to Joy or the Hallelujah chorus. Something about David Gilmores voice and guitar playing translates to pure emotion! And that isnt even considering the phenomenal saxaphone solo!
They don't tour anymore, IT"S OVER. There's an exhibition which started in Montreal and which will go around the world but Roger Waters took over and made a remake of comfortably numb 2022. What is currently playing was before David Bowie died
I'm not a fan of Sir big tanker Gimour (but love the great reunion live 8 2005: the music is in foreground and Comfortable Numb gets more dynamic through the voice change, is not so sluggish) but this once in a lifetime event is simply fantastic👍 But now on with the CSN-song Find The Cost Of Freedom as others suggest
It's crazy to say that it looked like Crosby and Nash were in awe and excited to be the back up singers, this was absolute perfection
David Bowie shows up too , in this show.
Later in this show during Echoes David Crosby sneaks up to watch the band play from the side of the stage and he's clearly mesmerized. It's cool to see.
Also amazing that they got Bill Clinton to come in for the sax solo. 😁😁😉😉
Wow thanks gents! Never saw this before, or knew that those legends played together. I'm sure they were all in awe of each other. Magic indeed.
Agree he’s the master
This live powerful performance gives me the chills!! It is soooo smooth and to see Crosby and Nash on vocals - wow just wow! The sax is also unreal. Your reaction is priceless, thanks so much guys for posting this one 🧡
Wow - what a performance! Heart piercing! The intro is out of this world and C&N are so smooth. Nice to see you back guys. Amazing reaction - thanks!!
Echoes from this gig is just mind blowing.
Wow.
Comfortably Numb from the SAME CONCERT features David Bowie. Simply stunning. He owns it! And Gilmours performance leaves the audience spell-bound! Great concert with three great Davids!
Pure magic! R.I.P. Rick
Yes, Pink Floyd again with Patrick and George!!!

Wonderful, and a happy birthday to David Gilmour 💙
Best ever track of all time...thank you for playing it!
Great rabbit hole to go down. I want to hear it again and again.... Oh wait, I can! Thanks for the reaction.
I've been missing you two! Welcome back!
That was Dick Parry the original saxophonist on the 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Dark Side of the Moon' albums. The unofficial fifth member of Pink Floyd. Forgot how good this version sounded. Thanks for reminding me. ♥️
He can blow the hell out of those things

That place where your soul goes when it feels like its floating between you and the speakers or TV is what I call "the Pink Floyd zone"

I was there with my brother, great concert. Brings back memories.
Pink Floyd was an amazing awesome band and this concert is fricken great, just wish I would have been there
I was able to see Pink Floyd twice.. I'm so thankful.. blessed.
R.I.P David Crosby
Gilmour…a true craftsman at work. He makes that guitar sing. 👍
...... No words!!!!... 👌❤️
Englishman are touched by God with the music talent. We owe'em so much. So appreciate it!
When David play’s them four notes, the words Wish You Were Here always come to mind 😊
I never get tired of hearing these reactions to my favourite band! Your right man there really is nothing else like this!

Here is that track - ua-cam.com/video/U-Y0SMitMpk/v-deo.html
Yeah, nice version. That solo album was brilliant and the rest of this footage is highly recommended ❤
Good to see you back with the brilliant Mr Gilmour.

Great reaction, Guys!
To a true classic and, wonderful song!
Pure perfection!! This is golden...💖
Yesterday night I watched shine on you crazy diamond two reaction vedios of yours..then today morning when I went to you tube.. here you are again... With shine.... Keep it up guys.. and I like to see reaction vedio of breath.
It's like....I didn't know there were 15 half steps, on the way to your one step bend.....wow. Even after all these years....wow.
Surely the most famous and recognisable four note sequence in all of history?
I've never heard this version - it was fantastic. Thank you!
Comfortably Numb with David Bowie is sublime.
Straight up FIRE PERFORMANCE 😉💯💘🌹🎵☮️
Sacred moment!
This is David Gilmour's best version of this song. Diesnt help that Crosby and Nash are backup vocals. Thank you guys.
Thanks for this one....one of the last performances with Rick Wright. When you can, check out the title track: ua-cam.com/video/kEa__0wtIRo/v-deo.html

My favorite! Gdańsk concert is awesome 😎

Watch Fat old sun from this same show! You won't regret it .
Its about Syd Barrett of course. You must see a legend behing recording this at the studio😮.
Great.
PLZ Be the first to react to Pink Floyd - 'Come in Number 51, your time is up'
Saw this show at Radio City Music Hall in NYC; still one of the greatest concerts I've ever attended.
Nothing like being in the presence of a Master.
Please react to David Gilmour- In Any Tongue, live at Pompeii
Please please do In Any Tongue Live in Pompeii, David deserves some credit for his solo work.. And its a war song so fitting for these crazy times we are in!
Bro's, for your 36th? Pink Floyd reaction, check out "Young Lust"!!
Crank it up!

If anyone tries to measure just how good David Gilmour is...David Crosby and Graham Nash were backup singers!!!
😍😍please do more from this concert, comfortably numb with David Bowie or fat old sun are even breath taking
Gracias por Pink Floyd!

David Gilmour is the luckiest roadie EVER
Love Gilmour so much. Please check out another master musician and singer that I grew up on Peter Gabriel, particularly Lovetown. Thank you. Love what I'm seeing of your reactions so far.

Please do solo David Gilmour ~ "No Way Out Of Here", "Raise My Rent", "So Far Away", "I Cant Breathe Anymore" and "No Way"....
I promise you will not regret it...!
Easily my favorite guitarist of all time.
David Crosby and Graham Nash on back up vocals, not bad....
You have to hear wearing the inside out and break through and summer 68 by Rick Wright solo
R.I.P DAVE CROSBY
Right?!❤
No question... lol
Great! Please react to the acoustic version of shine on!

Qui va prendre le relais sur le fait que peu de groupe dégage un mythisme musical

Really nice song. But can you do more Dire Straits please.
David Crosby died today, do it is especially important to appreciate him.
