- Motorcycle Jacket VS Knox Armoured Shirt
In our latest campaign, we put the traditional motorcycle jacket head-to-head with a Knox armoured shirt.
With a huge array of benefits over a traditional motorcycle jacket, a Knox armoured shirt offers a refreshing alternative to riders bumping up against the limitations of their existing motorcycle clothing.

Best bit of kit I’ve ever had!
Thanks so much! Aaron KNOX
This is probably the first time I full heartedly agree with the content of an advertisement. Love this jacket!!!!!
I’m in north Australia, where’s it’s generally hot or filthy hot. Will definitely be looking into this gear. I need impact AND slide protection. But please start making your gear in lighter colours. I don’t care if it gets a bit dirty, black is simply the wrong colour for hot sunny places like north Australia.
That is a very good piece of content. Clear, direct & to the point. Quickly covers off all of the key advantage points vs the competition. And a clear CTA. Well done. 👍🏽
Many thanks for the kind feedback! Aaron KNOX
Waiting for the urbane 3 price drop are a discount code
Bought one last year great piece of kit
I want one. But I am worried about a fall. What is the speed rating for this garment? Will it shred while sliding on the asphalt?
It's AA. Every garment shreds because of the abrasion resistance.
AA means, it will shred :
- 2 seconds in Zone 1 at 70km/h (412.6 rpm).
- 1 second in Zone 2 at 45 km/h (265.3 rpm).
- 0.5 seconds in Zone 3 at 25km/h (147.4 rpm).
@thterzioglu it's actually a AAA rated garment. Feels nice as a second skin type of shirt but feels thick enough to be able to slide with it.
All Knox armoured shirts conform with CE EN17092 with its various classification levels. The standard was designed to give appropriate protection for riders whilst giving choice for how much protection you require depending on your use and climate. Generally speaking a class A garment offers lower levels of abrasion resistance, but will be lighter and most suitable for hot climates. Class AAA on the other hand was originally designed for 1 or piece leather suits that offer the most protection but are generally heavier and hotter. In the field, we get incredible feedback on how our armoured shirts have protected riders in a crash. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
Thanks, but it really doesn't work like that. The seconds you quote is 100% not correct. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
@@KnoxArmour thanks Aaron for the correction. Would you please share the correct scores or figures ?
Do they have stretch panels in for airbags or would need to size up?
Don't know about the latest offerings but the stretch in the Urbane Pro was pretty poor. The arms are also short, so you may want to size up.
There's not really a stretch especially in the arms.
They aren't specifically designed to accommodate an airbag underneath so we would recommend to wear one over the top if that is what you want to do. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
Still waiting for that knox leather jacket/one piece leather suit
Great Product. Please optimise the website
After using the Urbane Pro MK I for the past three years I got just yesterday the Action Shirt MK II.
Let's hope it's as comfortable and light as I hope
Great armored shirt and feels comfortable. It takes a little time to get used to and wear into. Added bonus of having able to add a chest protector, so i feel completely covered from arms, back and chest. Versatile and can be combined with other jackets such as their 3 in 1 waterproof/windproof jackets.
Only con is that the neck area doesnt go as high up as id like, so ive already gotten hit by large bugs on my throat so ive has to wear a scarf or neck gaiter with it.
Brilliant bit of kit 💪💪💪
Thanks Al! Aaron KNOX
