Awesome work. Can't wait to see it finished. I hope you put something over the hole in the missing foot armour. A small greeble to maybe suggest it has broken off. I may just be nit picking too much. This truly is outstanding work on a monumental model.
Tell me about it, I still haven't found anywhere for it to go! It's nuts when you stand a Guardsmen between the legs... Hey... I think you've just given me an idea for a short!
By covering a large area with a magnetic metal, I don't need to worry about having to perfectly line up magnets. When I come to do the other armour panels, this will make life much easier by not worrying so much where I place the magnets. It also saved me buying multiple different sized magnets and having to figure out different ways to fit them 😊
I've got multiple armour sets to go on the model, so this way it gives me a large contact area for the magnets on the armour plates to stick to. Saves having to perfectly line them up and having to use different sized magnets 😊
That is an amazing looking murder bot :) However, whenever I see the head , it reminds me of that Simpsons episode where the dentist shows Lisa pictures of British people's teeth. Not a complaint or criticism, just an observation. Looking forward to seeing it painted mate, it looks incredible :)
really nice work but please do everyone and especially yourself the favor of wearing respiratory protection while grinding away at so much resin, the dust is really nasty stuff to breathe in
@@DireDiceTabletop that would be a cool look :D the only time I can see your head in the video at around 2:00 you dont wear anything so I was worried because of that
I’m not sure why you aren’t getting more views but keep going. These are excellent videos and you’ll break through soon. Hopefully once you’ve finished the chaos titan, you’ll do the imperial weapons and armour too.
printing mine for the last week or so. It slow going because I keep modifying the files for magnets and extra details. Im still unsure which head Ill do.
@@DireDiceTabletop I would strongly suggest using Fusion360 for a task like this. After you figure out how to create planes/sketch/extrude each piece shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes. Granted there's a lot of pieces to this model, so it's still probably a 3-4 hour task. Just make sure you have a .2 mm clearance for a tolerance fit around the magnets so like a 5.2mm x 2mm hole on a 5x2mm magnet. Depth should be accurate to the face of the magnet, but the diameter should be just slightly larger to allow the magnet to go in without heating.
All resin printed! Unfortunately these files have been purged from most of the Imperial archives by the Inquisition due to their heresy. Records still exist of what was purged, and they can be found. To avoid angering the Inquisition any further than I already am with this series, I sadly will not be sharing these records. Hope you understand.
@DireDiceTabletop 1st time seeing your video, the 1st thing that came into my mind was black Legion, but you could do nurgle them on it, but if you think an imperial theme would do great then I would believe it was bad that trun good but that would be hard because the imperial would try to kill it because it was bad. (I did my body is silver, and the top was black and the armor red and the trim of the armor gold, and then any other color would be the lights and stuff but my looks completely different from yours lol. Is yours 3D printed ?)
This way I don't have to worry about perfectly lining up magnets, or using multiple different sizes for different parts. As this will end up having 3 different armour sets, it makes it easier by not having to worry about being too accurate 😊
god I wanted to 3d print those files. so mad they got deleted... welp. time to try and learn how to 3d model. also, any advice on the 3d printing? should I hollow the prints or keep them as they are?
My top 3 tips for printing it: 1. Hollow everything! I used about 3-4kg to get to this point, including loss and fails. Printing solid will run you 10kg+ easily. It's also kinder to your printer, and makes building easier imo. 2. Drainage holes are probably the most important thing to think of. Orientate your files so that as much resin as possible runs out to a central drainage hole. Other holes are beneficial for easy internal cleaning 3. Expect it to take a few weeks to print if you work full time. Due to the size of some of these parts, you could be looking at 10 - 15 hours to print certain bits, and we all know we can't be bothered to sort out a print after a stressful day. I'll likely do a Q&A vid soon as I've had great questions about it, so keep an eye out for that!
Hi again Speed Demon. I sadly won't be sharing these files as GW has taken them down, so don't want to anger them by being seen to share them and potentially mess up the channel. They're still out there though, and there's people who can point you in the right direction

Good idea! Should easily be doable given the armour can be removed 😊
Damn...that assembling montage was EPIC...!
I just love to watch how giant machines get ready for battle...😅
That chaos head is amazing, would love to scale it down to Adeptus Titanicus size haha.
It's available from the purple site 😊 The creator of it has even commented here (which blows my mind!!)
Just coming in, anyway to get a hold of the files for it?
I’ve seen chaos titans before but not one that’s swappable. Nice concept!
Why have one Titan, when you can have them all!
This scale is insane. It looks great

Like that this is 3D printed but trying to work out why you faffed about with the little steel plates instead of using magnet to magnet contact points

@@DireDiceTabletopquick question would it be possible to get the Stl file in some way
Great work. All the effort will be worth it in the end. It already looks amazing.
Thanks Paranormal! 👊
Go go Chaos Warlord!
Grandfather Nurgle shall be pleased!
looks really great - I would have used magnets instead of metal sheet.

Amazing work and impressive details.

🤣 I can't unsee that now. Dental plan!

Thanks Bob! I make sure to mask up and vent the room the best I can, but agree that more could be done! Full Breaking Bad outfit soon perhaps? 😂

Thanks for your kind words! Plenty more of Titan content to come, definitely doing an Imperial armour set and also have plans for a third set now... 😉
holy crap. so extra. looking great
Ooh this is just the beginning!
If you seek the magical chaos head on the site the same color as barney you may find it after searching corrupter
I'd love to know where you got this bad boy so I could get myself one or 10

I got wrapped up in trying to edit the files - I'm not skilled enough with Blender 😂 Let me know if there's a way I can follow your progress!

Cool
I know this is late, but wouldn't it be better to have the metal plates on the armor piece and the magnets on the main body frame? Save some magnets.
Is this all 3d printed!?! If so amazing second where can i find the files for a none chaos version

Where did u get this model!?
Black as the primary color and gold would be the 2nd and red is blood
I actually didn't consider a black theme... That's an interesting idea. And I call myself a Chaos fan?!

British warlord titan
I reckon a Union Jack themed Imperial Titan would look awesome 😂
Nifty
