Gorgeous paint job, stellar video, easily earned a sub! The fluorescent paint suggestion seems so obvious in hindsight but it's immediately making my OSL pop the way I wanted it to when i originally painted it.😅 Just on the AI point a lot of people are bringing up, what matters when discussing AI generated visuals (from an ethical standpoint) is the training data and whether it's been authorised for use. If you are concerned about using it in future videos, just know that transparency is key. The AI you use should be transparent in owning the rights to the dataset it uses, you should be transparent about the AI used as per their specific usage and attribution guidelines. As we get into photorealism and video generation the ability to discern where exactly the AI is drawing from is effectively impossible. So unless otherwise specified, people will assume you're using one of the more shady options. Very glad to have found the channel. I definitely have another go-to creator to watch during painting sessions 😊
Elminiaturista is the King of miniature painting. I have dozens of pics of his work saved in my phone. Every single day I find myself looking through these trying to decipher his wizardry.
Because you did not tell us to like & subscribe like every annoying UA-camr, & you provided content I will learn from, I am commenting for the algorithm & liking your video & subscribing to your channel. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more content like this.
You forgot the last part of Oscar Wilds quote "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness" But in your case it was freaking awesome! I understod you tutorial better then I have his. So thank you so much. New Subscriber here!
Great video! not a big fan of AI use tho, there's many inspiring arts that were already created (from memory, dark souls has great use of fire and light) Outside of that, I love your montage and I find your voice very cool to listen, also the explaination is really clean! I'm glad youtube recommended me your channel!
Thank you! Yh a few people have mentioned that about AI. I wasn't aware about how these things are trained on artists work without compensating them. I hope someone comes up with an artist friendly AI soon that gives a cut to data contributors
You nailed what makes the box art style so good, relatively low barrier to entry makes it the kost approachable way, both in skill and cost, to get minis looking good. But for personal taste, I've been studying Elminiaturistas style for a while now, trying to up my effect game
Those flames are amazing. I will be stealing this for when I redo my Legion of the Damned Kill Team. I have subscribed for more tips. My only complaint is the suggestion to use AI art. It is built of the unpaid work of artist.
That's fair. Shame there isn't some kind of artist friendly AI alternative that allowed artist to enter their work into training datasets and get a cut if any revenue generated. Maybe a gap in the market there?
@@darkroomminis Capitalism doesn't like to pay for things if they can just steal them haha. A good source for inspiration is just to go to places like deviant art or artstation and search through the images.
All I can say is that is video gonna do numbers, keep the good work going
