I have seen a lot of attempts at scratch building titans and this is honestly the best rendition of an Imperator head I have ever seen. I actually swore out loud when you revealed that final build after spray paint. Truly this is an epic build.
You know. In the context of lore. He should be executed as a heretic. As there is no such thing as "scratch building" in the Imperium. He had a literal STC (the website for 3D modeling) and did not use it. But, getting out of the silly lore of Warhammer 40K. It is impressive and added his own personal touch. It is his Titan. There are many like it. But this one is his.

OOOOOOOH YES!!! My favorite youtube Warhammer project FINALLY returns! EDIT: Just looking at the thumbnail I was worried you went down the 3D printing route but damn I'm glad you're keeping up the traditions of scratch building. What an awesome project this is. I give it 40 000/10 points.
That’s freaking awesome! So glad you scratch built the head, the creative energy is really impressive. This is one of my favorite projects although the tilt grounds and the space hulk projects are also way up there. The city ruins, the John Blanche color palette fortress…. Heck! They’re all great. Super video
You can't build a walking cathedral without giving it a handsome face Edit: Spelling Error, accidently wrote "kathedral" because in my native language it's "Kathedrale"
The "denting" that the head has from the paper really makes it look like an old piece of metal helmet that's been through a lot. I would say that's a perfect little happy bonus from doing the head like that!
I love this project. I think about it all the time and was worried you had abandoned it. And the choice of scratchbashing warms my old school hobby heart.
Scratch-building a Titan pattern as formidable as the Imperator, is a Herculian task to say the least. But this is looking better and better and better with each update. Congratulations on all the feats achieved so far, and best of luck for the adventures yet to come! Praise the Omnissiah.
Got scared for a second there when you mentioned 3d-Printing - I love that you built this from scratch, and the result is incredible! This is my favorite project on this channel, I can’t wait to see more :)
Love seeing the update. I swear everything you make is above and beyond anyone else on here because you don’t skimp out on doing the extra mile it takes to make it awesome
Showed this to my girlfriend who is not a Warhammer fan, but is a very artistic and creative person and she was blown away. Looking forward to the next part!
Im in love with this whole project idea mate. I am nowhere near this talented or driven on my own projects and your work is an inspiration to me. I cant hardly wait for the next update.
One of the best things about these types of build videos is that I always seem to pick up great ideas for building stuff outside of the hobby realm! The UV resin on the Papier Mache parts is a stroke of genius- my mind is racing with ideas for other applications! Awesome video as always!
Very impressive. That thing will be massive when you are done with it. Really like the idea of using the U.V. cure 3D printing resin over the paper mache.
This was so fun to watch, any plans for LEDs? I started using them about 2 years ago on my "show-ier" scratch builds and love what they do to make a piece stand out, that bridge could use a bunch of red lights to make it spicy! also for those eye tubes maybe? Familiar with plasma balls? One of those could make a sick reactor core, I have a little one that sits on my desk about the size of a billiard ball. Can't wait to see more!
I instantly thought of a plasma ball for the reactor. That would be amazing, especially if combined with a huge pillar of greebled machinery surrounding it.
YESSS! The ultimate Warhammer build returns. How I dream of the matches that will be played around, on, next too and including this outstanding piece. Chaos and traitors tremble with its every footstep! I hope we get an excessive amount of banners for the final product, GW really needs a 7+ foot tall symbol of our collective love of banners.
It is insane to see you take on a project of this scale with all of the basic terrain materials I have sitting in my own terrain hobby box. Absolutely stunning work.

This is looking fantastic Eric, I would never have thought to fall back on paper mache, great call! Can't wait to see more progress on this beast of a "miniature".
Keep it up, man! Can't wait to see this behemoth in its final form! You should bring this to an event like the Las Vegas Open and put it up against like 50,000 points of collective armies.
Even the mightiest war machine is but of a heavily armed citadel to be over run by hordes of enemy infantry. It does have advantage over citadel that sure it can ru...slowly walk away, but time it takes to take a step, will lead enough time for just basic infantry to hop on in droves and over run it. While difficult task for both defenders of the god machine and opposing force, any god machine is good as dead alone and needs its companying infantry to keep it from being over run, while friendly infantry really needs to stay vigilant when titan engages with its main armaments, as those can be just as deadly for anyone in general area when that continent cracking power is released. So add in skitari horde, few vehicles and smaller titans and yeah i would love to see that battle play out... though Imperators turn would take half a hour just from amount of weapons needed to be rolled.
Great project. love watching every new episode One suggestion - 1 leg of the titan could be inside infested by Gene stealers (i know hive cities work that way so It would be cool to include it in the "walking city Mech")
When you said you were using an old technique to mold the head I thought fiberglass. Then you said paper mache, and I was like "Woah! Even better!" - less toxic and easier to work with. The head turned out phenomenal! It provides an excellent proof of concept on how the rest of the project will progress - it will be truly EPIC! Cheers!
