Kitbash. Not scratch built. Scratch built refers to something being made from scratch. Kitbash is when you use pre existing things to make parts or details(always has meant this) looking great though 👏👏

@@valeforedark I mean he isn't kitbashing since there is no kit to bash. He is closer to scratch building than kit bashing because he basically uses trash to make something original, which is similar to building out of prefab
This feels like it might have a giant powersword instead of chainsword, especially with how sleek it already looks, like a titan that prioritizes efficiency, and kinda has a more mechanicus vibe than imperium or traditional knight
I think it's mostly down to the lack of trim around the edges of the panels
"Efficiency" and "mechanicum" dont go well together given that they need 3 Guys 1 Servitor and 3 Prayers just to change a CMOS battery ... everything efficient in the imperium is losttech from the DAoT

This has to be the most unique head I've ever seen for a Titan. Period. Please continue the build. If it keeps that smooth, rounded look than I bet it will be perfect

This is a great start. Maybe you could start a race with Guy from Midwinter Minis to see who completes their Titan first?
I kind of expect Scratch Bashing to finish his first. Even completing the paint job first as well.

Not a bad start. I feel like it's a bit too organic looking compared to the other titans but if that's what you're going for then you nailed it
Yeah, I wasn't at first but eventually drifted into something kind of retro/rogue trader kind of aesthetic. I will now claim that it was the plan all along.

Very well done. It has a Guyver-esque feel to it which is unusual for the Imperium of Man's gothic, mechanical monstrosities, but it's very good nonetheless.

When it comes to colors, I was thinking a more weathered, battle-hardened relic of war look could be interesting.
Primarily green with browns and coppers. Covered in dirt, rust, and verdigris, you could even add some moss and vines, as if this literal mountain of a mech stood for the first time in ages. A true slumbering giant.
Regardless of that however, I'm just really looking forward to how you'll bring this monster of a project to life.
I love the bulbous look compared to the standard flat look of titan heads
Oh yes, I will follow this series with great interest! As for paint schemes I'd love to see it painted up as a Legio Oberon titan - orange with black hazard stripes is a great colour scheme.

Gluing on twist ties to give flexibility to form symmetrical bits is so genius I'm mad that I wasnt able to use that in several prior builds of mine, but happy that I can use it going forward!
The baffling thing to me is, how the hell you can look at a 'mouse' and think " Oh, yeah, that would be good as part of a mechanical face ", I mean, my mouse just looks like a computer mouse, no matter how long I stare at it. And the absurd thing is, the result looks so damn good!

build the whole thing, I mean everybody that just saw the head want to see it finish + it would make a great mini serie and help grow your chanel.
Personal sugestion , build the whole thing and then paint it ,that way you have free range to do what you want with it beforehand and maybe the theme of the build could slightly change mid-build thats why i think maybe build it first then paint ?
It was really intresting and im looking forward to see where this goes.

Hey, I like the Lucius pattern head. It doesn't fit at all with the design language of the Lucius pattern Warhound or Lucius pattern Baneblade, but in the abstract it's a fine design.

You should come up with your own space marine chapter that has its own esthetic and adopts the ork strategy of random building but fights for the imperium. This can be the centerpiece to that army!
When it comes to color scheme, I was actually really digging the Black and burgundy look before the putty and and priming. I think also the fact that some panels panels where matte and some where gloss.

Sigma titan head looks great, it has a nice sci-fi look. It has a very different feel than the normal Warhammer science fantasy aesthetic.

With the Mega Bloks claw pieces, yep they were one of from the company's answers to Bionicle which was called Neo Shifters which debuted in 2005. And they also released Marvel-themed sets with a similar building style though the last time to my memory to them doing Bionicle-like figures were sets for Halo and Iron Man 2 where the main gimmick was that the arms, waist, and head on the figures were attached via magnets.
I really like the look of this titan so far. Forge world titans are quite rigid looking so I think it would be pure sigma energy if your titan continued its curved/rounded armour panel designs to stand out from the rest.

I think a Purple red of sorts with maybe a yellow or gold or even biege would look good for colors. This is epic.
Cool, but a little bit roundy for my liking. A small tip - when gluing a rivets use a toothpick, a wooden one. Make a pool of superglue on a piece of plastic, then apply glue on exact spot on a model with one end of a toothpick. Another end of a toothpick should be wet (just hold it in your mouth), so you can grab a rivet. Now place a rivet on a spot. I decorate my titans just like that.
The organic Beetle like shapes from the mouse, the fenders and the whiteout thingy combined with the monoeye look fucking sick. It's like if Masamune Shirow or Juan Giménez designed a space marine helmet.

For the colours I reckon you should do a black, white and silver scheme with your channel logo in the tilt shields.
Black with a golden rim is pretty common, but would be a great fit.

i'd love to see a full titan built like this! as for the color scheme i'd go with a classic admech, after all they are the ones who built these titans in the first place, even though i know nothing about color schemes in titans

Please more yes. I think the torso has to come next, just so you can make sure you don't make amazing looking arms and legs that then get in the way of the actual body of the titan. I'd say let your Patrons vote on color schemes. Let them pick the pallette essentially and you get to choose where the colors actually go.

Great job with that amazing head. With how biomechanical it looks you can actually say it as something that akin to that dark age of technology STC titan in the grey knights book. Can’t wait to see what you would do with the rest of the body.
